Finding the best price for protein...

Declare War

I always have the issuer of my Credit Card take care of the problems. I've only had 2 since I started ordering on line. A lot of these sites are nothing more than drop shippers. That's one of the excuses I got. One of the three warehouses that shipped the stuff screwed it up. But they didn't seem to know which one.

Of course I sent a couple of nice little mementoes(booby traps) from anonymous addresses to screw up their computer. What satisfaction. I can just imagine what they were saying as they were cleaning up the mess. The next War will be held on the Internet. I was just practicing up on 'Deserving People' in preparation.

With my GNC employee discount, if I buy two big jugs of Pro Performance 100% Whey Protein (buy one get one half off), the price per gram of protein comes to $0.014 per gram of protein - and that includes tax.

The purpose of this thread is to see if anyone can find a better per gram price on the net. Remember to include shipping and handling. Some sites will ship free if you order a certain amount. So here's the formula to find price per gram:

total price
---------------------------- = price per gram
total grams of protein

Please include any type of protein. This should help people find some good deals. And don't forget to mention where you found the price.

I wanna see someone beat the prices at Kilosports
whey protein isolate 92% instantized.
Not really sure how many grams of protein per pound but it's unflavored i believe, so its pure protein

389.95 for 44 lbs
that's $8.86 per pound, normal protein containers (like those you get at GNC) come into 2.2 pounds, generally... so approx 2 lbs of kilosports' protein is 17.72. Not bad, huh?

Note for Willyumyum ... & others re: Protein & Prices

Hi guys!

Just thought I'd offer a little info on protein & prices (besides my bad experience with Protein Factory).

There is no "best" protein. It depends on what you want to accomplish. For health purposes, CFM (Cross Flow Microfiltered) Whey ISOLATES are probably the best choice. For anti-catabolic purposes, Micellar Casein taken at bedtime is probably the best choice. For older (50+) people, Soy Protein (with lots of things to cover the flavor) is probably the best choice. For bodybuidling (without longevity considerations) there are lots of "best" choices depending upon how you work out, when you take the protein, what you take with the protein, etc. And even the overall state of your health (not just the size of your muscles) can make a difference on what protein is best for your own biochemical individuality. The answers aren't simple and the number of "experts" who really know what they're talking about are very few. You have to do your homework -- research, ask questions, consult lots of experts, find out about the background (from other people) of the experts, etc.

Now, about the "92% instantized" whey isolates. That's marketing. CFM Whey Isolates are 98% or higher. If they aren't that pure, they aren't CFM or they aren't all isolates.

Booby Traps are just sites that use lot of pop-ups that may change your home page and do other little things to mess with a persons computer. www.manicmail.net
is a site to send anonymous email from. All you do is find someone else's email address that the victim trusts and then send them a link to one of these pop-up sites. I'll put one here in case you want to see what it does. This one doesn't do much damage other than throwing porn pop-ups all over your screen and changing your home page. If you run it you better know how to go into the 'regedit' and change the home page back before you start explorer again. You'll have to do the alt/ctrl/del to shut down explorer to get out of this. If you don't do the regedit bit it will just start up again anytime you go back into explorer. You can also hide the net address behind html in the message body so they won't see it.
