I personally know a couple which decided to termenate their pregnancy in the 5th month. The baby had an open skull, heart malformations and severe deformities. This baby wouldn't have lived after birth if it even made it this far. I stil love this couple and don't think they are bad or wrong. This baby had severe problems. But what if a couple found out that their baby had downs syndrome? People with this chromosomal defect can go on to live productive lives. Where do we draw the line? This is a complexing question. I guess until we walk in some of these peoples shoes we will never fully understand how hard it must be to make these decisions.
I am in my 31st week of pregnancy and I have really thought alot deeper about this subject lately. What would I do??

Why should a line BE drawn? Birth defect or not, a woman has the right to terminate her pregnancy, for whichever reason she wants. Sure, there are better reasons than others, but it's her decision.

Why cant you accept responsibility for your actions, if you didnt want a baby why were you having sex, unprotected or not theres always a risk. My roomate goes through this every month with his dumbass GF, she calls him up saying shes late all biching and crying, i want to smack him and say stop fucking 4 times a day.
Why aer most women against killing animals for sport ( when i kill i eat the animal, i love deer ), but they think its alright to kill a fetus???
Thats one problem with our soicety no one wants to take responsibility for what they do, ppl murder and get out of it, ppl steal and get out of it, know of a person, a single mother who commits welfare fraud, she makes close to 40,000 a year, but some how still collects.

I am pro-choice if it's early term. Not if it's a PBA! I also believe in a women's right to an abortion in the case of rape and or incest. I just believe that's PBA's are barbaric.

I agree with you 194443% about people not taking responsibility for their actions. However, raising a kid safely is one hell of a responsibility in today's fucked up world. I don't think a woman needs to be put in that position because she was too stupid to abstain. No reason to put 2 lives through hell. So, I say, if you're not going to be able to handle raising the child without going on welfare, or putting the kid up for adoption, abortion may be the way to turn. It may not be nice, but Christ, there are already 6+ billion people in the world, and I don't know how many in poverty. The world does not need any more.
