Females: Do you feel your rights are being violated? (PBA BAN-VERY GRAPHIC)

what if the mothers lifeisin danger due tothe pregnancy or if both stand a probable chance of death poink?

as far as i understand these are the reasons PBA's are done....would you enforce the ban then?

Hello!! Anyone going to explain why starving kids is okay but partial birth abortions are bad?

People need to start being independent......that is where the curbing (I never said elimination) of Welfare and elimination of PBA, comes in. If people have children----even if they don't want them-----then they should give the baby up for adoption. I don't see why the baby should have to be punished, let alone sentenced to a PUNISHMENT OF DEATH, because the parents don't want that child, or because it "cramps" their lifestlye. Even in the cases of pregnancy from rape, the mother should just have the child and give it up for adoption. Don't you think that the RAPIST----NOT THE BABY----should be the one to suffer from the act of rape against the mother? I think it is glowing sign of the degradation of American society when a rapist might get out of jail after 5 years because of parole, while the resulting baby of that rape faces an ABSOLUTE DEATH SENTENCE! Shouldn't the rapist---and not the baby----face the more severe penalty?

More pro-life propaganda. I agree the procedure sounds pretty gruesome. But I have read in a number of places how this procedure is rarely used and for the most part when it is used it is because of a medical reason.....in which case banning it accomplishes what??????

This is a question that I have tried to obtain more information about with little success, so maybe some of the medical field people can give me some assistance.

What condition would threaten the mother's life so greatly that the procedure of PBA is demanded, yet a cesarean would not suffice? And I am not talking about conditions such as stillbirths or anencephaly or other conditions where the fetus is essentially dead, but a condition where the mother's life is threatened.

As for 2THICK's normal retarded statements, it is too early to reply, save to say he is at least consistently wrong.

it is almost never medically necessary. Less than 5%( I think that is the number) of PBA are preformed for medically necessary reasons!

PBA's are cruel. Starvation is cruel. Neither one is humane. How bout we concentrate on the problem of too many morons getting themselves knocked up? Let's stop the problem before it starts.

Maybe we need to start educating people more on birth control.

I don't feel that my rights are being violated at all. It's disgusting and barbaric.

2Thick it really amazes me the things that come out of your mouth. What's the big deal? How about if someone rips you apart limb for limb? Oh yeah, according to you, they don't feel it. Come on....

i dont know myself....using my cereal box knowledge of science maybe if the conception took place in some place other than the uterus like further up the fallopian or something....so surgery to get the baby out might be risky or result in infertility plus is high risk to the baby

maybe of there is a risk of eclampsia??

anyone else know?

also what if the baby is likely to be born dysfunctional or still born (like in measles/rubella/CMV infections during term)....

i think they use this methos to remove the baby as it presents less of a risk to the mother, and because they can kill the baby inside the mother

pro-lifers seem to be arguing the method of termination rather than the actualtermination so maybe they have no problem with this in principle

If the fetus was in another position, the pregnancy would have aborted on it's own. Ectopic pregnancy. Isn't ecclampsia(sp) a result of high blood pressure? That's not a reason for a PBA.
