Ok, so the sky opened up and God made everything fall into place so that an incredible job opportunity was presented to me just recently. 50% increase in pay, awesome benefits...just an amazing opportunity for me and my family. The interview went well and everything....
The only problem is, I failed the pre-placement physical because I had just gotten off a cycle of epi/havoc and my liver enzymes were elevated and lipids skewed. So the occupational doctor determined that I was "unfit for duty." Frakkk!!
I went to my personal physician and showed him the damning blood work and some of my previous (A-OK) blood work, the empty bottle of havoc, a printed out description of havoc explaining that it could elevate liver enzymes, skew lipids etc. He wrote me a letter to take to the other doctor, but I am not sure that he is going to be willing (or even able) to reverse his decision.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before? If so I would like to hear what they did/what recourse I might have. Many thanks, in advance.
