Elastic bands for back training

endpoint

New member
Almost bought some of those elastic training bands that they go on and on about at west side.

But i though i might wait till i find some exercises to do for my lowerback. i am always worried about the condition of it.

so i thought attaching a band to the leg of a bench and doing "pull throughs" with them.

also with the band tied to the leg of the bench and around my ankles: lying on the bench.......mimicking a reverse hyper extensions.(since i dont have access to one)

Is a band a suitable tool for the lowerback.......anythoughs????
Or would the use of bands cause problems.

Band work is "suitable" for anything. The best back exercise with the bands is the goodmorning. Stand with your feet on one end of the band and put the other end around your neck. Goodmorning are a great exercise.
