There's a restaurant in the Hamptons that only seats well known, famous or attractive people in the front and as you walk back towards the kitchen people get uglier, louder and more "bonac".

Teenie bopper stores have the same idea when it comes to hiring staff, attractive in the front and less attractive in the stock room.

I think this is the 'bonac' reference in C&C...
While I don't think C&C should be like some Parisian parlor 18th century age of Enlightenment style, I just find it hard to believe that there would be a high traffic rate in the 'black pudding forum'...

I'd rather just see a return of Chat to the general level of discourse and oversight that existed around 2004-2005 -- after Kronk, before the Bomb.

But if Chat is fated to become increasingly bowdlerized and Disney-family-friendly, then yeah some other place for the adults to play would be a good safety valve.

I don't know, I have mixed feelings about it. It would clean up this space for awhile. And I also agree it would show a person for whom they really are. But at the same time, do you really need to have a place to blast on someone? Isn't that kinda like saying, go ahead and say whatever you wish about this person, but we want them around so hide it in this forum area? If it stuck with Politics and Religion, that would be great. But I also have that other side that says whoa... stay outta there, daddy told me no discussing politics and religion. I did, and it got me three days, no power, no phone, no hot water (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!)..
