I have another example. My in-laws were working all the time. When one comes home, the other leaves right away. The parent at home is too tired and falls asleep on the couch and doesnt have time to spend with the kids. The result of this in a foreign household? My husband didnt know ANY english when he started school. He had to take special classes and that put him behind the kids of his age. He was thrown out of many schools cause he was never disciplined well and thought manners. All that they didnt or did to him, I had to un-do it when I married him. I wont let that happen to my kids. My kid is gonna know how to talk and write some english before she starts even pre-school. And I am already working on it

No need to have kids to prove my point. Stay at home moms is a dead concept. You'd see this with immigrants mostly but as far as I'm concerned, no one at school was in this situation and none of them turned into a "pipe bomb" terrosrists because we had friends, real people to enjoy life with, not just the internet.

yeah, I turned out perfectly fine too with my both parents working. But, with working parents that care about you and pay attention to the kids

KIDS..............are NOT an excuse. They are a reason. And a God damned good one at that! YOU may have turned out okay, but there are scores of others who did not and it was because mom was never home and dad was never home and neither of them gave two shits about what their kid(s) did. When the "parents" (and I use this term loosely) got home they were so tired from work that they ate dinner and flaked in front of the TV. And where's Mikey today? Oh, he's just in his room building pipe bombs and collecting rifles so he can massacre his entire class at school tomorrow. Can you say Columbine? Maybe if Mommy and Daddy actually paid attention to exactly what those little shit heads were doing then it may have never happened. You don't plan something like that over night. It's months, maybe years of NEGLECT! So go have some kids and then maybe one of us will actualll value your baseless opinion.

I don't see what the problem is. A stay at home mom requires some skills. Those skills are not required by anyone in my office. Hence, if someone put that they were a stay at home mom, I would give them a second though of turfing their CV. HOWEVER, if I was hiring for a nanny or something...
