Do you believe in Mythical Creatures such as:

One year when I was little and lived with my grandmother, she feel asleep waiting for me to fall asleep Christmas Eve and didn't get the unwrapped Santa presents out before I woke up. I walked in there that morning and didn't see the presents sitting out and was confronted with the grim reality that I must have been a bad boy that year in Santa's eyes. So my grandmother comes in there and doesn't say anything, and I don't mention it because I'm embarassed by the fact that she must realize I was bad because Santa didn't leave the presents. So a couple of the presents that I opened, she looked at the toy oddly and said, " I didn't put that there, I guess Santa has started having the elves wrap presents this year." Then for the next few weeks, I can remember her randomly giving me stuff for no reason. (the hidden presents that she didn't put out from Santa)

There are giant salamanders in the Trinity Alps of California

I do kind of believe in ghosts though.
I think people have a lot of energy in them and it doesn't always get reabsorbed into the earth - all that energy has to go somewhere.

It seems, according to the major dictionaries I checked (perhaps the Urban Dictionary would work better for you), that the definition of myth is intrinsically linked with: A) a belief, which is inherently in itself, and B) false or imaginary ideas, stories and beliefs.

YWIA.

What about mythical stories about real people, such as the myth of George Washington and the cherry tree? It never happened, but it doesn't make George Washington any less real.

Jesus was apparently a real person. However, stories of virgin birth, being the son of God, and resurrection are plainly mythical.

Yes - and your Wiki link doesn't change anything.

It was intended to give you a proper idea of what energy really is. Unless you're talking about religious energy or some other mythical (heh) kind of thing.

Of course not. Not when you're trying to use logic and rationale with a woman. It's an exercise in futility. :D

Washington wasn't a mythical creature, he was a real person. Rumors about what he did and how he did it are just as mythical as the rumors I hear about Snoop Dog and what he does. No one is arguing that Washington or Snoop exist, and exaggerations of their activities are not myths. In this context, George Washington is just as mythical as Snoop Dog, Dr. Dre or Nelly, which does not follow. Hence such a use of the term is incorrect.

No, not religious energy...
People are filled with all sorts of "energy" right?
So we die - where does it go?
Same with all living things- it gets reabsorbed back into the earth...
But sometimes I think that there is a little left over - that is what makes shit fall off shelves and makes lights flicker on and off.
Or maybe I'm wrong - but I think that there are many things left on earth that we cant quite explain.
Regardless, I still think those fairy chasers are dumbasses.
