Do men like to be hit on?

Ok, so I will do this next time :-)

More power to you. Just know that at first IMO the guy will probably presume you're slutty Just because it's not traditional. Exude womanly power and take control. That's my fantasy anyway lmao!

What about married guys? Do they like it? Will they let you know they're interested or will they be too scared? I have no problem doing the hitting but a girl's gotta know it's probably doable.

hey lady! You looking to bang a married guy? lol

No way, if I talk to a guy sweetly and end the talk with, txt or call me if you like, Nothing slutty about that.
Maybe a young, dumb and full of cum dude, but an older man, I doubt he would think that!

by the way, you're hot. wanna make out?

Lol, I'd love to see that list :)

List of things I want in a man:

1. An excellent liar
2. Questionable values
3. Emotionally unavailable
4. Someone else doing his laundry

:lmao:

maybe she just wants a fuck buddy with NSA? A guy who already has a family and isn't interested in leaving them (so he won't be pursuing her for anything other than occasional sex). Hopefully a guy that won't become attached so she still has freedom to do whatever, whenever with whomever. I dunno?

I don't believe the ego is bad. But perhaps some do become a bit sociopathic. But then again I have a very rare view (after Ayne Rande) of life where selfishness, and what some people call "greed" are NOT bad words. Self preservation, gain, and success over anyone else is most important. To me that means stroking my ego regularly and LOVING it when chicks do :) JMHO

it's wrong, deluded and just plain f'in stupid!
Cheaters make me ill, and yes I was one once 14 yrs ago and I was a douche for it. At least I learned from it to become a kinder person, Some people live this lifestyle....it's mental in my opinion.

hate to bring this up again, but there is a HUGE age difference between myself and you ladies. Dating at my age, is nothing like dating in your 20's.
I never pursued a man, they always pursed me.
Now at close to 46, I want to take matters into my own hands. Not to sound like I'm on an ego trip, but I get hit on all the time, and frankly, few men have a chance anymore because I'm immune to being hit on. I'm actually turned off when I am hit on.

COUGAR ALERT!!!

she's on the prowl!!!111@

Lol! I'd love to :) But yes I agree. I didnt realize you were more mature. It wouldn't be a problem unless you were a young dumb girl either lol

Lol. Oh Good God. That idea is flawed, how did her ideas convince you to abandon your ethics? She didn't need to argue that greed was good, just that it EXISTS. How the hell was that such an easy sell for you?

omg, never again! I was with a guy for 2 yrs who was 12 yrs younger than me. It was not so good! I like my men my age or older.

And not on prowl yet, I'm taking some time for me ;-)

i've never read the book myself but i heard it espouses greed and self indulgence, pretty much Nietchian in origin no? is it true that the book portrays greed as something desireable or is that just a way people smear her captialist ideals? I've heard both arguments so i really don't no...i'm not in the mood to sit down and read a 1000 page book about a guy who runs trains. lols

Im also ashamed of it.

As for the theory that it's in the male DNA to pursue, yes true, but we also have evolution and women in this day and age do not NEED men to take care of them. Women are powerful, make their own decisions, are independent and really have their pick. Back over 50 yrs ago, women didn't work, were brainwashed into thinking they had to be stay at home moms, so they married the first joe who asked them.

I never chase, no will I, but at my age, I will not play games. If I like someone, I will tell them. If the guy feels I am too easy (which I am so not), his loss. If he feels a connection and is not into games or just having sex, then he will be flattered I believe.

As for wanting men just for sex......been there, done it, miss it, but I had enough "friends with benefits" that I am good :-)
I can have 10 sex friends if I want, Not my thing anymore.

Im not in my twenties...not for some time now....otherwise...carry on

sounds like a great list!

yeah no shit huh?

all of the qualities that make a good...what? lay? except..who else is he shagging and whats he gonna give you for a "gift"?

Lol. Oh Good God. That idea is flawed, how did her ideas convince you to abandon your ethics? She didn't need to argue that greed was good, just that it EXISTS. How the hell was that such an easy sell for you?

That is assuming your ethics are truly the most correct. Ethics aren't concrete. That's arguable. I may not have explained her theory exactly in full, but it makes sense. Just like Obama is calling republicans evil because they don't want socialized healthcare. That doesn't mean we're evil. It's the way you look at it. In a nutshell, putting others before yourself is perhaps natural if you care for them, but it's not best for you. Take that as you wish. And for the record she doesn't think actual greed is good. I said what some people call "greed" is good. For instance "greedy" evil corporations. Some think they are evil incarnate. Watch the movie atlas shrugged. Imagine you'll get my meaning.

Well depends on what you or they mean by greed (usually its different than her definition) but yes.

She argues that morals derive from self-interest as does integrity etc. Something like that. Blah.

^^^^ I never could finish the book but I did see the movie and her point is a lot more clear in it. It could easily be smeared this way just as anything capitalist is twisted to seem evil. The movie ends with the country's most wealthy and successful man burning everything he created and disappearing, leaving a sign that says "left it how I found it." it's actually a utopian idea and can't even happen. But if everyone worried only about bettering themselves and no one else, we would all be better off. Something like that. That's also VERY controversial and I wouldn't expect everyone to agree right off the bat, but don't dismiss it as flawed right off just because it's not the norm. Open your mind a little lol

conservative meanie alert!!!!!!!!!!

I am super forward if I'm looking for sex, though, because what the point? That's not very often though that I'm attracted to a guy enough to want to hit it but not enough to want to be with him.

this right here is exactly why golden delicious used to drive a p.o.s. car and act like he was barely employed.

Gee, I wonder why everything capitalist is smeared as evil. Poor capitalism...I feel bad its followers give it a bad rep. Its flawed because its flawed, not capitalism but her ethics. She does not NEED to destroy altruism to sell capitalism but tries to anyway. :shudder: You don't need her to sell it, you don't WANT her to sell it she is an anti-social.

I'm reminded of Dawkins fanatics sometimes.

Ask your dad what he thinks of capitalism

I give me a break. Even the word profit is profanity to anti-capitalists nowadays. They are demonized for trying to maximize profits. Profit is what has to be made to grow and to create jobs. SOME capitalists perhaps give capitalism a bad name. But ALL anti-capitalists give democrats a bad name.

^^ But if everyone worried only about bettering themselves and no one else, we would all be better off.

So the wall street guys who exploited a financial tool that they pretty well knew was going to collapse the market and hurt people who had nothing nor wanted anything to do with their casinon games....those guys are good capitalists? No one has any issue with people "bettering" themselves...god even Marx himself say's if one works more one should get more, and that's the father of socialism. When you "better" yourself by swindling the system, just because it isn't technically illegal doesn't make it right and in the end it destabilizes society. Capitalism left unchecked will eventually destablize a society, as does socialism when it turns into communism. I would argue, and most people would agree with me at this poitn, that something in our market has gotten out of hand. If we don't check the excesse's now then eventually something so bad will go down that we'll pendulum right over into communism. Put a check on the market now and we might save our free market system. Let it tank the economy again, which it will now and with much shorter durations between collapses, and we're gonna wake up under martial law one day.

Don't do it, you're walking into spiritually corrupt territory, plus it makes you a scum bag...been there many yrs ago when I was young and stupid!
You're in for a whole lot of bad karma if you do it.

Wow! I prefer to live in the 21st century. "Spiritually corrupt?" "Scum bag?" Ouch. That almost hurt.

Thank you, ceo! Now, am I a trendsetter or a tramp? I have to admit, I'm pretty shocked at the conservative attitude on this subject. I have no qualms with relationships or finding the right gal/guy but just because someone doesn't want to do that and, oh yea, she's a female, she's still a HO? It's just so last century to me but what do I know?:qt:

Well it's the whole deceitfulness thing...but hey if the guy you're trying to bang is in an open marriage and/or a really terrible one where neither spouse gives a shit what the other does that's one thing. But the vast majority of cheating men and women go home to their clueless spouses who likely know things aren't all that good but don't think the other person is stepping out. Like if I knew some dude was cheating on his wife like a dog i wouldn't have a problem having an affair with her.....it's a sketchy line I get it, to each their own you do what you like i'm just saying that's probably where the animosity is coming from cause alot of the ladies here, and guys, have had it come out of left field that their S.O was cheating on them.

sooo....noodz?

"That make a good" ah, yeah, lay. But we won't go into who I am or how selective I may be or any other dribble. We'll just call it a moot point.:qt:

About what? Those relationships started out with adultery, and I believe all of them are happy now.

I don't think it's usually ends in something positive, but it did for them.

Child: "Mommy, how did you meet daddy?"

Parent: "Well, I cheated on my original husband and your dad was the other guy"

Child: "Uhhhhhhhh"

And the cycle continues......?

Is believing they're happy any worse than believing the opposite?

We have no reason to believe otherwise. I think they're fine.

Because parents always tell the 100% unfiltered truth to their children.

ok so back on topic, I could care less about cheaters.....

Now just talked to a friend who met her husband when she sent him a drink in a bar. She told me he was impressed with her courage since most women don't hit on me.
I would never send a guy a drink, I am really that shy with men

lolz ceo. Yeah, lolz. I like things (life) simple. No drama. My way...hi-way. Bada bing, bada boom. Easy peasy. There's the door.:qt:

theres not a shortage of single guys that want the same laundry list

and before you think Im being a conservative bitch....I was cheating on my ex husband with my current husband who was cheating on his ex wife...but our exes were cheating with each other...

all very springer...we have two beautiful little girls and we're constantly suspicious the other is cheating/lying

enjoy!

Nice lying life. They stand a good chance of finding out if other family members know about it also. This stuff usually doesnt happen in a vacuum.

sorry your relationship is under constant mutual suspicion. you seem like a cool chick otherwise

I hardly think it's lying. Children don't need to know everything.

It's like your child asking where they came from and you telling them the dirty details of some kinky night you think they were conceived. It's unnecessary. They just need the basics.

So it's assumed I've never been cheated on? Has anyone not been cheated on? Seriously I get what you're saying and I realize my veiw is certainly not a popular one, but just because it's not popular or people feel it's immoral or whatever their take on a given situation, that's justification to not try to think outside the box? I guess I just don't understand and I mean no disrespect. I mean we could be talking about anything and if all one wants to do is base their opinion on popularity contests or what affect something had on them and not see another angle, then I guess there's no discussion. Only slings and arrows. But that's OK. This is Chat and Conversation. Thanks for sharing.

Only slings and arrows.

no no, wrong time period....we here at elite are more still in the cenozoic period so it's more like ape like. Which is why i refer to this place as the primate enclosure, hop in the pool's warm....pick out a sniping nest, watch your six, and just let the poop fly. :supercool

I'm single and the men who hit on me are creepy and yuck, so I'm thinking when I'm ready to date again, I'll do the "hitting" because I feel if a guy hits on you, he's a player

eye contact and a smile.. thats what it takes.. and to be frank, if you can't make me smile, i'll have sex with you but a relationship?? i'm thinking no..

I Love this girl!! :D

There are people out there who have it right, i'm not saying this 100% across the board. If you got it right you got it right, same with SD. But look at our society as a whole. Do you beleive that as a whole people view relationships as you seem to? or do we have a seriously warped view of the male/female dynamic? I tend to think it's warped based not just off my own experiences but those around me and yes, what i see in modern pop culture. One of the biggest sources I draw on is how my sister was raised, it was old school. My dad has changed now but he actually felt for a long time like there was no poin in women attending college because they're to be married anyway. I love my dad but god he was a jurassic period piece of artwork for awhile. And with small differences here and there, that's how everyone i grew up with was predominantly raised. I often wish to have been raised in the more liberal coastal regions where the impetus to mind fuck you into a life not of your choosing is not as severe. Things are obviously drastically different now even here...but during the early 80's this was everyday U.S.A

I get the feeling i'm a little older than you so my perceptions are going to be different, can't be helped.

Wtf are you talking about. Almost everyone in my graduating class ('88) went to college regardless of gender. I'm from Illinois, not the coastal region.

In addition to that, my dad is the oldest of 9, and ALL of them went to college (in the 70s and 80s). I have never known being female as being a deterrent to going to college.

Did you grow up in the 40s and 50s?

Right, like values are soooo last century. It seems you are lost, and have no idea where you are.

My post about your laundry list was a lighthearted joke, but don't for a second think you are making any progress belittling people repelled by you. You are the one acting like a savage. You are uncivilized. Be quiet, your being so proud about it and justifying it by trying to belittle others is what is repulsive.

I graduated in 81 and this is the same. I can't think of one girl I knew that did not go yo college. This guy has more daddy issues than a 17 yr old stripper.

Boo hoo - daddy cut off my foreskin without asking and didn't think my sister should go to college.

Agreed.

And the theory doesn't make sense anyways. You want something simple so you go after a married man? Sounds like a complicated situation to me. in what world is dating a married man ever simple and drama/issue-free for any real amount of time?

Plenty of single men will hit it and throw her to the side, if that's what she's looking for.
