do me a favor. diagnose me

I don't feel like going to the doc. just tell me what's wrong. i trust you.

my symptoms:
  • today i've had intermittent pain in my left ovary area.
  • last week the lymph node under my chin was sore. This week there's a lymph node near the back of my head/neck that's sore.
  • My skin has broken out a little. nothing bad, but not great either.
  • I have a mild tickle in my throat (this could be due to my blood pressure meds, since the doc said it's a side effect).

Go.

You should not ignore the ovarian pain.

And I don't think you will get a very good diagnosis in this forum. I suggest:

How come you didnt ask her how quickly these symptoms appeared, how bad they are (use a 1-10 scale), if anything seems to aggravate/alleviate them, how long she's been on the bp meds (as well as all other meds), if she has ever noticed any symptoms directly related to missing a dose, what doses she's taking, obtain a complete family history, a social history to find out if she's using any other chemicals/drugs that can induce hypertension etc????????

becaaaauuuuussssseeee....................I'm not giving her a specific diagnosis. I'm just adivising her from "personal" experience that BP meds are a scam. They alleviate one symptom while creating many more. Now if stilletto was old and infirm and couldn't make the necessary lifestyle changes to deal with high BP, than that's a different story. Someone with her physical profile should not have to rely on meds to regulate her blood pressure. I don't care what the medical field say's frankly.......they lost all credibility with me two years ago. What I've learned since about the human body and what it can do when you get out of it's way is quite awe inspiring.

So basically what you're saying is that you have no general direction that you're going in, and you're just naming things off the top of your head. Carry on then.

Oh and the part about physical profile and how a healthy athletic person cannot be at risk for major health problems -- Do some reading on the Jupiter Trials. It'll blow your mind man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :insane:

Sounds like you have a virus of some sort. Your bidy is trying to filter it out. The pain in your ovary maybe be kidney pain radiating to that area. Does your lower back hurt? Drink some fluids and if it doesnt get better in a few days go and see your MD

thanks spywizard. You're probably right about the stress part, although lately i'm the golden child in work so it's been pretty good.

as far as my blood pressure, I got it down somewhat, but it was still high. given that I lift heavy weights, my doc was concerned. My father died of massive heart and kidney failure and nobody really knows why (i think it's from long time steroid use to be honest) so the doc wanted to keep mine down.

oh, and i'm on amlodipine for it. i don't know what it is.

its a calcium channel blocker.

yeah I wasn't specifically linking her ovary pain to BP meds.........but you never know. My point was that BP meds "can" and most often do cause other maladies throughout the body that you then need other drugs for. It's like a trigger effect. First come the BP meds, than within a year you're on a benzo script wondering wtf happened in the last year of your life. Her specific symptoms right now I could not specifically comment on............I'd just like to see her get off BP meds as I would anyone who at least generally takes care of themselves. Like she already said, she basically dumps a small salt mine into her trap every single day...........well, eventually the accumulation of sodium in her system is going to drive up her BP. IMO targeting the affecting behavior with sound nutritional concepts> than taking very powerful medications that fuck with your bodies BP regulation.

yes I know that "athletic" doesn't necessarily mean healthy, but it does mean you're in the general direction and somewhere there's an offending behavior or "vice" that is putting toxins in you that your body cannot deal with well.

I'll look up these trials you speak of. Right now though, my eyes are bloodshot from studying for the past 10 hours........so I want to look at some porn and than hit the sack......g'night.
