Today you'll learn the facts about how Anthony Roberts, a friend and colleague of mine, and his partner Brian Clapp, with their sites Steroid.com and RoidStore.com plotted to take control of EliteFitness.com by filing a frivolous lawsuit in Texas and by flooding our Internet Service Providers (ISPs) with notices demanding that our entire web-site be taken offline. And regrettably, this is a lesson in how my stubborn loyalty to someone I liked and trusted almost destroyed my website and me in the process.

A lot of people were banned, or flamed or "blacklisted" as it were, over that rip off....

A lot of mods/members here stuck up for them as "sponsors" and how we shoudlnt bash them ie- tell the truth...

it was def a poor time in the history of this board and there were also some very trusted members of the community lost out of the whole ordeal ...

Wow this is tragic... I have read this site for years as its the only sane board on the net as far as reliable, down to Earth BB diet & training information.

I only recently registered an account and I would HATE to see EF go away after just a decade. EF is the best board by FAR!!! :worried:

This is really wanting to make me write a book now. What would that e-book be about? Ugly people telling everyone how to be beautiful and not ugly-scary looking?

The sad reality is that where these types of boards and businesses have been low on the public radar could now be wide open for the national media to mention and to be demonized. If this happens, the accuser I would assume would run a much greater risk because of board names and store names. I find all of this to be frivelous idiocy to be taken to court. For some, the love of money will always be that person's undoing. Some people call it Karma, but I call it the Law of the Harvest. You will reap what you sew, and if you sew to the wind you will reap the whirlwind.

If I was the other team, I would never put such a thing on the books or open to the public for public scrutiny. I would hire someone if I had to so that I could out-market the competition. The visiting team is just willing to take everything from the downlow to the uphigh and ruin it for everyone. Greedy people and people who do not think for themselves have an insatiable issue with a knee jerk.

People may look at my reply and say, "The Feds are probably already crawling all over this board and every board out there too." Well, yeah, duh. I don't think CNN, Fox News, and other major outlets have caught much wind about this for them to get their estrogen on like Donkey Kong. I am simply amazed that another entity is so willing to screw everyone over rather than trying to compete and market better.

Drama unleashes drama on those who create drama. The law of the harvest.

That's not true. I've been here a short while, I'm non plat and I have found that these guys treat me just as well as any other. Lots of the plats have been here a long while and are good friends on the site, so maybe there's not the same level of friendship, but nobody will look down on you unless you are an ass, an idiot, or break the rules. Be an ass or break the rules and you're gone. If you're an idiot people will correct you, disagre with you, and argue with you until you learn the right stuff. Then you'll no longer be an idiot and have a lot more knowledge. Isn't that what it's all about? Gaining knowledge to enhance our bodys and reach our goals.

I just never understood why needto has a fetish with weiners, stiffys and exceptionally large dildoes when he edits a post. :rainbow: :)

They prob got wind of GS saying something about bringing back old members. So now they are going to send the troll army over here to try and slip some of them in.

There are still some things at EF that I honestly do not like, like having to pay to use the search button via Platinum Membership. Every post I read about all the products (And there are SO many these days) being advertised here, Is like listening to Charlie Brown's teacher at this point. Blah Blah Blah, this supplement is so great and will change you and the world around you. and I don't liek whe a post is deleted and no one has the balls to step and say, "I deleted it."
That being said, I would never have learned as much as I do now. I would never have met such a great community of people. I would have never gotten to know some of this people a lil better. I am currently studying to be a personal trainer and do that as a living, as a career path, and honestly EF has played somewhat of a role in that as well. I myself and this community will stand behind you and help you out in any way we can George. This is a great place with great people.
 
I here you on the Charlie Brown thing. Probably should move the supplement talk to the appropriate forum and keep it out of the AAS forum. But I am guilty of it myself. Ive asked about stuff not related to gear just cus I know it will get the attention in the AAS forum.

I honestly think the banner ads garner enough attention without all the threads.

I mean, if I started talking about GNC Mega Man it wouldnt be kept in the AAS forum.

Why propose something so generous? Because I learned from my attorney that it would be far cheaper to give them everything we got from Dino’s book than to fight the lawsuit in Texas. And I learned that the most they could conceivably expect to win would be $750 to $30,000 – and probably a lot closer to $750 than $30K. In exchange, both Brian and Anthony would have to agree to drop their lawsuit and agree not to sue us again over anything else that had happened in the past.

Let me give you my take on this board and the people on here.

Keep in mind I have been on here for a little over a year. I know, not much time at all.

Last year, I decided I wanted to do gear. I did some searching on the internet and found this site.

BEFORE coming to this site, I didn't know anything about gear. I had no idea what was out there or the dangers involved with using it.

THIS SITE AND GREAT BRO'S LIKE NEEDTOO not only saved me a ton of money from the enevitiable scamming I would have fallen for, but with the knowledge and experience here, probably saved my life.

So it's a year later, I am still hitting the gym, still learning, still getting to know people, and I still haven't used ANY gear yet. Physically, I am not ready for it yet.

I am sure there are a lot of people on this site that would have either gotten ripped off or injured or possibley killed if this site wasn't around. This is a great site and I am happy to see that it is up and running. Pardon my language, but %^&* those %^%$#* from the roid store that are only interested in ripping people off.

KEEP UP THE GOOD FIGHT GEORGE!!!!!!!!!

Having been a lawyer for 7 years now i have seen a bit--some business decisions are made that may not look the best in hind sight---

BUT

it is actions like this that set you and EF above the rest.

I am behind you 100%--kick his ass (legally, of course).

I agree it sucks what happened. There are some heartless people out there and will trample anyone to get ahead.

I have been a member for several yrs and have seen some peeps come and go. The one thing that does bother me is all the advertising. It started out simple enough and I know there are bills to be paid but it has continued to the point that it is nearly as bad as the magazines. I mean it seems like every week there are new, incredible products being released to this forum. I think they should be in the supplements section but what do I know right. I will say the fact that the flaming has been nipped and there arent back and forth threads for pages at a time just bashing has improved the site. I also find useful info all the time and it has helped me tremendously. I have been around and the site has changed but you can always find bros on here willing to help and that have useful info. The EF board is still the best out there.

I actually defended AR for a hile not understanding why sooooo many peeps hated hm and called him names. I thought he was just a guy trying to make some cash.

Is what I don tthink he understands that alot of people who deal roids may have a shady past and may deal with people like a drug dealer would. He may piss off the wrong peole and end up dead. That would be ashame but on the same note he would get what he deserved for pissing off or on the wrong people.

One of them has their own personal consultations EF also sells, and this person used to (maybe still does, I haven't checked) have AR as their "hero" in their EF profile.

AR has been a known dirt bag around many of the boards for over a year now. I did advise one of your Mods about this some months ago. What he will try to do now is discredit this site & its admin in his site blogs. He still has a few faithful followers who have yet to see the light. This can be potentially dangerous if it gets out into the mainstream media. So dont think he will just dissappear quietly.

fyi, I dont even look at whether a member is plat or not when giving advice, and I'm sure thats the same for the rest of teh mods

only when a member fucks up and break the rules. obviously a paying member is going to get alittle more lattitude

Its all drama that if it can not be resolved between the two sides needs to go to court to get someone to resolve for them.

There are always two sides to every story and sure Antony, Brian and whoever else is involved have their side as well as this side. Who is right or wrong is for the attourney to resolve.

IMHO i would let George and his team resolve it direct and all the drama should be kept away from the boards. If it can be resolved - great if not then let the lawyers resolve for you. Then when the result has been obtained and no more appeals then announce.

Until then let them get on with Steroid.com and Elitefitness get on with their business.

There is no benefit doing all the dirty washing in public as it serves no use or benefit as you will always get people that see the opposite.

This is a matter for behind closed doors IMHO and should not effect the business of Elitefitness.com or steroid.com until resolved

That was one of the best changes we made in the last month on aas. Getting rid of all the useless flaming.

Now even though you will see threads about sponsor products the aas board still flows and info is easy to find. No sorting threw 20 pages of fighting to get it.

It's a good thing that they filed in Texas. There is a new state rule that states that a defendant can recoup his legal expenses from the plaintiff once the defendants initiate a reasonable settlement offer and the plaintiff refuses ---see

I discovered this last year when I was sued by a bull-headed asshole. The lawsuit hung over my head for three years until we put this into action...it cleared things up quickly and got that jerk out of my life, mainly because he had something to lose.

Your lawyers will likely not tell you about this rule because it will limit their legal fees, sorry to say. I found it on my own after paying thousands to my attorney. Best of luck to you.

I dunno if you've been scanning around the net but AR has been deviled and ridiculed on almost every bodybuilding and anabolic site he's posted. Gosh he even gets dissed on bb.com. The thread on there was kinda hilarious about how IBELabs have been trying to serve him a subpeona and he would end out out of town or at some bb show or something. Living at moms house can't be fun either. He still regularly ridiculed by the Anafit folks. I mean I think the guy is just bitter because he makes alot of outlandish claims that he cannot support and his theories are not seen as "news breaking" Noone thinks the guy is worth a darn, atleast on other bards. He's garbage.
I guess I don't know how else to put it. I guess there will be some trash talk by him on his blog , but to be honest , I never wasted my time reading it. The dude puts a capital S and C in self centered and he get treated in return like it. Since none thinks he's worth wet toilet paper , I believe he tries to bring others down too...

After reading this and the e-mail I got, I now need to know if the e-mail I received about 7 months ago regarding Balkan Pharmaceuticals being a legit product and the next best thing since British Dragon was bullshit. Because in that e-mail its introduced by AR.

I didn’t realize it until someone pointed out his real name, but I played (well was on the same all star team, he didn’t play much) rugby with him with the North East Collegiate All Stars. He was sooooo freakin’ good he only started on game on short schedule. We all wondered how he made the team at all!!! He couldn’t have made the starting A Side for any of the teams in the New England Div 1 schools.

in any case i have never personally had a problem with the man so i have a hard time bashing him. but if every bad thing about him is true then he has got what is coming to him.

This will be an ongoing debate and most probably unresolved. Everyone's experiences is different and it's important for everyone to remember that.

This may not sound analogous but I worked on a Woody Allen film for 3 days. Now I know a lot of people don't like him for various reasons but the guy was totally cool to me and the other people working, no matter how small their part was so in my book he's okay. It's the same thing here.

If someone had a good experience with an individual it's hard to convince them them that individual isn't to be trusted. Having said that, many of the examples stated by get456 are simply not true. Mac constantly bumped threads that he started which promoted products. And Ulter was a bit of a BS artist with no credentials whatsoever. Remember, even a fool can give advice. Does that make him a good bro? I read some really terrible suggestions from those guys, irresponsible, off base, and flat out wrong. And often dangerous. It was psuedo-knowledge -- pretending to know what they're talking about and people believing them. It happens a lot. Remember Fonzie? He was a "good bro" too who turned out to be pathological liar, and a scammer.

Neither of these guys formulated any of their products. They just bought and sold them.

So opinions depend on the persons personal experience , but let's not confuse the facts with emotions.

As for the Roid Store, glad they're gone. A scummy company and unworthy of the site. And as for the legal conflict with AR and everyone else, I'm going to stay out of it. I think it can be avoided but people behave irrationally sometimes. A shame.

This is disgusting to say the least! I'm very sorry that you are having to go through with this whole thing GS! It makes me sick to my stomach to think that there is scum out there like this. Although....there are numerous members of the community who have known AR was scum for quite some time! I have also been around for a very very long time on these boards. Starting with an original Jeff S site (A.COM) And one thing that has proven itself is that Karma does catch up with people like AR! It will!
