i'm glad i saw Pantera in 96 when they toured with White Zombie. the show i went to was only a month or so after Anselmo OD'ed. crazy shit.

Damn this is sad news.. I had beers with him and a dude that went on to play for LA Guns at the kitkat club in NY YEARS ago, straight up guy. no bullshit. Sad.

Crack: I was around the corner on CentralParkWest, about a block away, from the doorway where Lennon got shot, chilling on a balcony of my buddy's parent's place... didn't hear any gunfire, but right then, right there. Saw the cops and abulance arrive, decided to see what the commotion was about and as we came around the corner of the Dakota to see a bunch of total freaks tearing their shirts to dip a piece of cloth in some blood on the ground, more news folks started to arrive.

My boy bill said, "Must have been Yoko, somebody got tired of her bullshit." I kid you not. Two fat cows near us heard him and FREAKED... it was then they said it was John...

The whole scene still freaks me out to this day. Surreal.

Mad gunman got up on stage tonight in Columbus, OH during Damage Plan's set and opened fire -- Dimebag is dead, Vinnie Paul is in the hospital. Others are dead, including several from the audience. When the police got there, the gunman apparently took a hostage.

This is the preliminary... the news just hit the AM news stations around Milwaukee. This will be all over the media tomorrow.
