You just won $4000, what do you care? Besides, that $50 entry fee is for contestants entering the contest, not for the general public, unless you plan to be a contestant. I would guess that this meet would cost $5 to $10.

I need to call that number to get more info.

I am under the impression that *watching* the strongman comp is free.

My idea of a perfect day is watch some strong guys huffing and puffing then go gorge on some relatively inexpensive, quality protein

I am with you on that one, but it doesn't seem that we can get a consensus on where to eat afterward. Some want cheap, others want it more expensive (and a trip into town, because it ain't in Waldorf), and then others want to go clubbing afterwards.

I know what I want to do later, and I don't think it will involve any of you guys, so I am sticking with the comp and then dinner.

Ahh yes. Appetizer Plus. It's in Rosslyn, which is right across the river from washington DC. That would be agood combo of value and fancy. Not sure how the timing would work out though. They close for lunch at a certain time then reopen for dinner. Post-strongman may fall in that window.

Food? Upscale was just a suggestion - I'll stop being picky. I can eat at the chains - I was just suggesting that we go a little bit upscale because it is sort of an 'event' to hang out with EF peeps.

Night life? Some want the strip club, some want the club, freeballindc has "other plans", so we have little to no agreement there. LOL.

I guess we'll get to the StrongMan Comp and figure it out from there?
