I'm not sure if this should go here or in the diet board, but here it is anyway.

Status: Sort of Novice, been lifting for only about 6 months.
Goals: Cut down to 190lbs from 210 with no to minimal muscle loss.

Sunday: Cardio: 40 minutes of 3.2mph at 8% incline
Monday: Lifting: back, lats, shoulders
Tuesday: Cardio: 40 minutes of 3.2mph at 8% incline
Wednesday: Lifting: legs, abs
Thursday: Cardio: 40 minutes of 3.2mph at 8% incline
Friday: Lifting: chest, arms
Saturday: Cardio: 40 minutes of 3.2mph at 8% incline

Sunday through Friday my diet is like this:

On cardio days, I do the ANBP diet, with 6 meals of 1 scoop of ON whey and 2 tbsp of ANBP each. these meals are spread out exactly 3 hours apart.

On lifting days, It's pretty much the same, except I add in a post-workout shake( myoplex )assuming this would help prevent catabolism and might even be slightly anabolic at least for a few hours.

On Friday night I go to Z-Teja's to pig out on a chicken & pasta dish, with chips & salsa and cornbread, and on Saturday I maintain my refeeding fairly cleanly, with lots of chicken, lean beef, and whole-grain-based breads.

Any advice or changes to the above plan would be greatly appreciated, thanks. :)

soz for posting a Q but, is a long period of time walking on incline the best way to lose fat?
I'm not sure - that's part of why I'm asking. From what I've read, HIIT is probably a better way to lose fat, but it's a lot more catabolic than low-intensity cardio. But I may be wrong about that.

I'd attempt to help you out bro, but I don't know jack about the ANPB diet other than I'm not a fan of it at all...........so, if you want to ditch it for a more pratical approach, let me know.

I can't imagine doing a 7 day a week routine can help you meet your goals. How you ganna keep on muscle if you never have time to heal. Hit the weights 3-4times a week and do some intense cardio such as sprinting or grappling. Diet is key but you are gonna be in a lot of calorie deficit which equals slowing of metabolism. The key is to gradually cut down total calorie intake to just below maintanence level, so your body burns fat due to strain of anabolic activities, long cardio session are very catabolic because the don't signal your body to release GH or natural test
