Critique my diet!! (meal pics)

what is the deal with the CDs??? :p

watch the following:

1. Fat content of that lasagna
2. Mashed potatoes, they are so easily converted to sugar, you might as well eat dextrose
3. French bread.

Safer alternatives to those carbs would be: Whole wheat bread, yams, sweet potatoes

I'm hungry now ;)

Since tou juice your main concern should be enough protein

French bread has a lil more sodium than, about the only thing I saw different??

To me it looks as though your carb intake is very high for someone trying to stay lean. Have you been tracking what proportion of your weight gain is muscle/fat?

My bf didnt change much if thats what u mean.

Sorry, but for someone with your physique I'm surprised that you don't know about low-GI and high-GI carbs.

French bread and mashed potatoes have an extremely high glycemic index, meaning they cause a spike in insulin levels and promote fat storage.

Whole wheat bread, sweet potatoes, brown rice, etc, have a lower GI, meaning they take longer to break down in your body and provide sustained energy without raising insulin levels.

Did you really not know that?

I didnt think it was THAT big of a difference. So sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes. For mashed potatoes, I make them out of real potatoes, add a lil milk butter and soy mix it up.
Wheat bread... I just like the daily baked french bread instaed of the long lasting wheat.
