Chest not growing

AndsX

New member
So i have been working out for the last 6 months and i think my chest is not growing like the rest of the body. I can see differences in my shoulders, arms, legs but not the chest.

I workout Chest on Monday and Friday and increaed weight almost consistently.

I do Barbell BP 3-4 sets of 10-8 reps and Inclinde Dumbell Press on Monday's

Firday - Barbell BP 3-4 sets of 10-8 reps and Crossoever Flys

Can you plz throw in some suggestions to grow the chest

Thanks.

Your grip could be to close on bp.
Personally I do less reps heavier weight 5 to 8
add some weighted dips at the end of a chest routine.

Crossovers? if they are cable get away from them stay with the basics they will do more for you.

I think i am gripping it right. May be i'll add dips to my workout and see how it goes.

You could do some before or after, so say you just finished flat bench, immediatley after do some pushups with perfect form and slow negatives, you could even do a few sets. I actually was on a major plateau when it came to advancing strength and size on the chest so i took advice from a vet, he told me to substitute my standard chest routine with different variations of pushups. Turns out after about a month my chest seemed more solid and my bench actually went up. If you would like some different pushup exercises let me know ive got about 7 or 8.

Also you said youve been working out for past 6 months, you could also change your workout routines and exercises....gotta trick those muscles man

Push Ups for a big chest.... OK. What are your stats and lifts like bro? That is another example of poor advice.

I'll have to ask an IFBB Pro or a Natl level PL how many push-ups they do .... per year....zero. LOL. If you want a tiny chest do some push-ups.

Do heavy bench 2-3x a week. Don't have a 'chest' day... we don't grow a body part at a time. Look into the 5x5. It is a great start for where you are in your lifting carrer. Cable Crossovers are best left to the ladies and the worthless Personal Trainers. Once you are HUGE you can play. Till then you need to be putting in work a the gym.
