Carao! Is this for real? Are you people buying it?

I agree there are scammers out there making claims on products that simply are not true. I have read the same threads that you have on this board about carao. The people that have tried it and liked it are not the ones that are selling it. See the difference? I haven't tried it either, have you? I can only read the info and then make my own decisions. Isn't that what we do with all supps anyway? I can't disagree with someone who has gotten positive results from this if I haven't tried it myself.

Well, you are right. I guess its just a professional deformity, I like to sniff out rats, and I love to argue my case. Im always looking for the "angle", so in this case it made me suspicious that certain people where raving a bit too much. Its not beyond the pale to imagine that maybe some sort of kickback is involved if they drum up enough business for the guy...shit, there I go again, I better stop now:p

All this bickering -- what are we, women?

This is the deal; If somthing has potential benefit, bodybuilders are going to try it. If it sucks, most will catch on and abadon it. Usually it's only when a supp company keeps promoting bogus products do people kid themselves into believing they work.

Advertising also brings in new suckers all the time. This is not the case with Carao. So if you want to pick on something, there are a lot of other choices. Lets start with your list.

Creatine: Overrated. Temporarilly increases strength through water retention. Excess creatine will not increse ATP beyond ones natural limit. "Loading" creatine is a scam.

Whey: Another golden child of the supp industry. Whey is just another form of protein, no better or worse than others. A pound cost about a dollar. A one pound tub of a MRP contains a quarter pound of protein and costs approx $40.

Glutamine: Worthless garbage promoted by the supp companies. Completely innefective in oral form since the body is designed to make glutamine from BCAA. Raises ammonia levels.

Vit/Min; No shit.

Flax Seed oil: A phytoestroen that's recently been shown to remove androgens from the body. Has been linked to prostate cancer.

There you go. That's your "best" list. Now tell me again how we're being scammed by a farmer in Costa Rico selling a 2 month supply of Carao for 20 bucks.

Fina, you aren't addressing the issues. Why don't you tell me why your Hardbodylawyer handle was banned yesterday and your posts and signature lines editted? (Now that you are in Ventura... it's a crime in the state of California to claim you are a lawyer when you aren't.) Why did you come back today as Hardbodiedlawyer when you knew your were banned yesterday?

Is it "obsession?" Do you think about me all day long? Do you dream about me at night? Do you wish you were me?

Help me understand this. I've had a couple stalkers like you before. What drives you? Envy? Anger? Or is it some other compulsion you can't define?

Did any of the meds ever help? Or did you refuse to take them?

Nelson hit the nail on the head.. there are hundreds of supps out there that we should know are scams and really dont help..

this is something new to most of us and most (if not all) who have tried it are getting good results for a low cost.. no one is PUSHING this supp like the hundreds of other supps out there..

carao is awesome.. at least for me and everyone else ive heard use it.. you can take that for what is worth or wait a few years and maybe some university will do a study .. dont hold your breath..

or maybe muscletech will produce a carao supp and do a study showing 90000 fold increase in rbc count and a 500% increase in strength...

sometimes you have to trust people and use personal opinions.. look at most of the people who have posted about carao..almost all are well known bro's who have been around a while and very knowledgable

who cares i love the stuff :)

It is true...hardbody is generally a moron and not really worth the time spent

It's not that I mind a good argument about Careo or other supplements i might support... but instead of getting the ideal argumentitive person who has done RESEARCH and has some sort of logical basis to his statements... I get to argue with Cletus the Slack Jawed Yokal... Thank you, hardbodied... for being Cletus today.

hardbodylawyer, so far you've...

- called me a sucker,
- implied that I do not think for myself,
- described Costa Rica as a "third world banana country,"
- said my testimonial was "half-assed,"
- called me and others "scammers and other unsavory flim-flam types"
- accused me of lying about something to receive a "kickback,"

and then you told me that I'm flaming you unjustifiably. Well, this is the basis for this post.

It's crystal clear to me that you are on a mission here and your motives are sick and way, way out of whack.

Now when I first started reading your posts I felt sorry for you. It was obvious to me that you had A LOT of time on your hands with nothing better to do then pick fights and insult people that you will never be man enough to stand up to in person. I said to myself, 'man that dude really needs to get a life." But then I read your post about not having enough time in your day to work out coupled with your obsessive, relentless attack on a fruit extract.

It's very obvious to me that your problem(s) go way beyond your concern for my health and well-being from my taking a fruit extract. So my suggestion to you is why don't you stand up, be a man, and come out and say what's really on your mind. See, I'm no lawyer but I can sniff out rats too but I also like calling things for what they really are and not wasting my time on BS. So if you really like to argue your case, here's your opportunity. Somehow I don't think you'll take me up on this.

I'm sorry to say that you remind me of a little spoiled child that teases, antagonizes and instigates and then when addressed goes running off and hides behind "they're picking on me, they're picking on me."

Come on man, grow up and stop wasting my time here. I know, "if you don't like my threads and posts, put me on your ignore list..." No, you're in my face now and I'm getting sick and tired of it.

Now go and get the help that you need.

40butpumpin, you hit the nail on the head. What we all witness here is a classic case of "arrested developement."

Most of these cases arrive from years of abuse as a child. For the safety of himself and others around him; he needs to seek counseling quickly.

On a more upbeat note, Frackle, how long did you take carao until you noticed a difference?

Nelson, I surprised to find flax seed oil bad for you. Removing androgens from the body? Can you go into more detail please.

Yeah, Flax seed oil is one supplement I'm afraid I (and many others) were too quick to praise. On one hand, it's a great source of Omega 3's. And unlike Fish oil, it doesn't give you "fish breath." But Flax Seed also contains lignans which remove "excess" hormones from the body, most notably, testosterone. Lignans have even been linked to prostate cancer.

Now, before everyone gets nervous, research is still new and sketchy, and the amount of testosterone lost is slight, and for all we know, it may not even be free testosterone which is removed. But it just goes to show you, all these research studies that people take as gospel truth don't mean SHIT!
