Can you remember your daily life when you didnt have the internet yet?

Back in 1993 I was a DJ at a private college and they had prodigy or whatever for the internet. I didn't know it cost big $$$ to use it. I played chess with someone in Cali and the bill for the school was $600.

Pwnt by early internet technology

I was a late bloomer on the Internet. I was anti-computer for a long time, since before the internet, people were using them to write letters, and accounting, and stuff I felt you should do by brain and not machine. Then I met my ex-GF in '97, and she made fun of me for owning a TV-VCR-audio repair business, but not having a computer yet. So I got a used 486 desktop for $1500 with a 13" Sony VGA monitor, and subscribed to AOL, and then I found eBay, and I was an addict.
