Can you remember your daily life when you didnt have the internet yet?

probably best you got out of that business bor

You're not kidding! I have one friend still in it, and he's gone through his entire life savings trying to keep the store open, and he's about to get foreclosed if he doesn't listen to common sense. The consumer electronics repair business is no longer a service in demand, and the career is dead.

its not rocket science, your friend had to see the writing on the wall at least a decade ago. what a stubborn bor

9th grade - and then when I was a junior my mom got addicted to chatting with guys online (my parents were married) and then she got scandalous and started dressing like a whore and going out and cheated on my dad and that was the end of that. I blame the internet for my mom being fucked in the head and ruining their marriage.

What really gets me, is that he's not dumb, and he saw the writing on the wall in the 90s. He just said "I'm too old to change careers", and hoped it would magically get better. My last "good" year in that business was 1994, and it was down hill from there. I got a second job in '01, and then got completely out when I met my wife in '05. I dropped my license in '06, but I still repair stuff in spare time for friends.

I had a 2400 baud modem and aol version 1.8 for DOS. It was white/black/gray color only.

Good times. You had to open up an entirely different program to even look at a picture of some sweet tits.

I can't remember pre internet days. Maybe around like '94 or so before I got on the 'net, I pretty much read, played sports and nintendo :)

Oh man - I remember life before cable tv and a channel changer.

We had 3 channels and my Dad would make us stand at the TV and make us change the channel for him during commercials.

Work - started before hard drives. We did get a "laptop" computer, made by compaq that was the size of a regular suitcase. It was so cool bacause you got to work from your desk. All other computers were in the "computer lab". Floppy disc sucked - they really were floppy.

All external communications was printing it out and sending a fax. Fax was a big deal - almost internet type breakthrough.

I paid $4,500 for my first "fast" Windows PC. Sold a pick-up to pay for it.

Cool tech changes in my lifetime. I appreciate them all.

i used to read a fugton of newspapers.
i had multi subscriptions.
and lotsa mag pron, i like the still shots as opposed to vids,
too many dix in vids, and dix just aren't my thing.
now it's drudgereport/chunkyasses.com/ef and occasionaly fb.
if it isn't talked about on any of those sites it never happened in my world

1992, seriously....

I had the damn modem sitting on the top of the desk ... 2400 baud i believe?

I didn't even use it for surfing, it was purely for communication with my bro in germany...I dont even remember any webpages but more so just wild threads of links...

Before that, i did plenty of shyt...women, parties, alcohol, and writing computer programs were not invented after 1992, i do not believe.
