*** I have posted in my log about a large man I see busting his ass on the treadmill.. OFTEN … I KNOW I must have before. I took the time to stop and tell him he looks awesome, his progress is amazing, and to keep up the great work.. it’s paying off … and last night, he approached me with much nervousness, appreciation & shock, and apologized for the surprised look, if not one of ‘brushing me off’ the previous night … b/c so few people, if ever , have made the time to give him a compliment …. We talked for a while about the 130 lbs he has already lost, his heart conditions, and just how these small acts of kindness can help change someone’s life … I am happy and it was my pleasure to compliment him … & I make it a point to do this often … the feeling is one that I cannot, and dare not place a label on … ***
