5'6" 155 lbs in the above pic. 4-5% BF. July 26th

178 lbs 8.1% BF Sept. 25

I'm trying to get to out of the lightweight class. My next show is in March. I think if I can get to about 195 and cut down to about 175 and be around 5% BF, I'll be happy. I'll be at the bottom of the middleweight division, but it'll be progress.

awesome work bro, are you planning to compete in a heavier weight class? more bulk perhaps??
keep it up.
I hope to weigh about 180 lbs with about 4-5% BF. Lightweight cuts off at 165 lbs. I'm only 5'6" but in the lightweight class, I felt tall and skinny. My long term goal is to weigh about 215 and be in the single digits BF %.

Looking good! What are your measurements?
Thanks for the comments. My bi's are 16 1/2", chest is 48", quads are 24" and calves 16". These are as of the bottom picture. My plan is focus on my chest and arms while maintaining everything else. I have a show coming up in March in Birmingham, AL. Hopefully, I'll be in my new weight class. I'll post more pics when I see some changes. I'm weighing about 182 right now.

Awesome! The hard work has paid off.

Thanks bro, I'll be much happier when my arms look more like yours.

ThanX for the compliment Onerep! :D That means alot. Your not far at all. If I were to get as shredded as you are in those pics, it scares me to think how much Id lose on my arms. hehe Thats why Im always bulking. haha Im 185 in my pics also, not sure how much Id have to lose to get super shredded. Im sure youll exceed me within the next year. My progress has been so slow lately. ThanX again brother!

I know what you mean about being scared to lose size. My arms in the competition pics went to about 15 1/2". But I cut the wrong way. I dropped 30 pounds in about 6 weeks. I plan to do it a lot less drastically next time and hopefully retain more size. If I didn't ever compete, I'd be perpetually bulking too. Keep up the good work Beast.

Damn! I couldnt do that bro! Over an inch and a half loss on arms. Thatd freak me out! Thing with me is, it takes me a very long time to gain or even gain back weight Ive lost. To give you an example I recently lost 5lbs at the end of last month, from now eating enough. Im still getting it back. That takes alot of dedication. I commend you. And thanX! :D

It was definitely a hard thing. I was a wrestler in high school so self deprivation is not a new thing for me. Thankfully, I'm back and bigger than I was before I cut. Thanks for the props, brother.

Not quite 200lbs pounds yet, but close enough to post some progress pics. These are with my cell phone, so they are not the greatest quality. You get the idea though.

Thanks for the comments bros. George Spellwin and everything!!! I'm somebody now.

Tweakle, yeah, I've gotten quite a bit stronger with the added weight. I don't really max out or anything, but I can handle weights that I never used to for reps now.

Beast: I plan to go to my next show weighing about 180 ripped. I guess the mirror will be the deciding factor as to what weight I end up, but that's what I'm shooting for.

Man not to burst your bubble, but you are carrying a decent amount of bodyfat at this point and you still arent big enough to go in at 180 shredded especially running natural.

I respect the goal, but since you competed last at 155, why not shoot for a realistic improvement of 165, even that is alot of lean tissue gain for a natty to come in at his next show.

I know, I compete too, Im not badmouthing ya, I just know what happens to us naturals when we get to fat in the offseason and try to move up a class. Its hard as shit to strip that fat and maintain lean tissue if cardio is necessary.

I have some pics in my gallery. Im your height and compete bantamweight at 143, I have a small bone structure and can carry a decent amount of mass at that weight.

Good luck on your goal, but I think a 25 lbs increase in competition weight just aint gonna happen naturally in less than a year. good luck with your preparations,

LB

I probably wouldn't be able to pass a MLB drug test anymore if ya know what I mean. I'll start cutting on Jan 2, and I may very well end up closer to 165 than 180. It's tough to see those pics in your gallery bro. Help us non-plats out and post em up. Thanks for the constructive criticism.

I dont know man, you still might be able to pass an MLB test. But, I hear what you are saying. I believe then more than a 10lbs increase is very possible depending on genetics of course. Good luck with it.

I posted my pics in the forum a while back. Im not sure how to post them in this thread I dont know why its not easier. Most sites just have a browse button and you upload the photo. I read a post somewhere a while back on how to do it for nonplats but I cant remember now. Maybe Ill look into it later and post.

Good luck with your competitive goals,

LB

lookin thick brutha!!! where's your strength right now? tb
My strength is through the roof. My bench is up about 50 pounds, and I'm able to work with weights for reps that I would have been maxing out at before. I don't really lift more weight in the squat dept yet, but I do twice the reps on the recommendation of a friend. I think I've put at inch on my quads Thanks for all the comments bros.

onerepmaximum...

Things are look like they are progressing the way you want them to. I agree you should look more towards the 165 competition weight. I'm in the exact same boat as you. I have competed as a lightweight to this point and now am making the move up. Looking to be 164ish in Aug at the Canadian Nationals. Sitting at 186.5 right now and still in single number bf. Just posted a thread with cometition photos a bit back. It was entitled "photos thanks to needsize". Take a peak and see what you think.

Thanks for all the comments bros. Hammer, I saw your pics, you looked great. It definitely looks like you weighed more than you did. That kills me, I can stand next to a guy who is my height and weighs less than me and I feel smaller than him. It must be my ghetto booty that stores all the weight. I'm still hovering at 197 lbs. I'd guess I have at least 30 pounds to lose (maybe more) before I'm in any kind of shape to compete. I hope to gain about 15 more pounds before it's over. I think it's possible, given the vitamins I'm taking. I appreciate the observations.

Not sure this is gonna work. But onerep asked me to post up a pic for non-plats as we are same height and both compete etc. Anyways, here is one, Im 5'6" and 142.25 in the pic, this is last show I did, won the bantams. I hope to add enough to come in next time at 150 and move up. Im still going at it natural and will be interested in onereps progress. Keep us updated, I know you have about 3 weeks before cutting time is here. Good luck,

LB--

LB, Thanks for posting, bro. I'm still right around 200, but I am not holding water like I was. I'm feeling strong as hell. on my 3rd work set on bench for example, I'm getting 300lbs for 7 reps. I already got my supplements to start cutting, but you're right, still got a few weeks. I'll post up some pics when there's something to see.
