Hmm, that looks like a lynx to me. Not a bobcat. Lynx are more furry with a lighter sand color, have the distinguished dark black sharply pointed ears and bigger paws than a bobcat. That is a lynx in that pic. Bobcats have a more golden orange fur, and do not have such thick scruffy "maines" like that.
To BBB, that is a raccoon on a log dude. Lol, it's a Mountain Lion broseph.
Cougars/Mt lion (same thing) are much larger(like the size of a retriever), and are a uniform gold or sandy color. You can't see the spotted fur on the sides by the belly that is the trait of a bobcat. Bobcats are about 3x the size of your average house cat. That there is about 8-10 times the size of a house cat.
Bobcats are not near that size. If that was a bobcat, it would be the biggest damn bobcat that ever lived.
The sheer mass in the shoulders and thighs is a dad give away as well. Bobcats are wirey. Not thick like a cougar.
