Blood Tests In...Still Shut Down?

so the refernce range of 241-827ng/dL is not accurate?

No, that is the correct reference range used by Quest Diagnostics. It's just not the range that WanderingClumsyFool likes to use. At any rate, you have to keep in mind that the reference range is where most men will fall into. If you are a bit above or a bit below that range you are still "normal".

Yes, as thx9000 stated, its accurate, its just not the one I like to go by. I am not trying to say you have a bad doctor or anything either. Some labs just use different reference ranges for what is considered physiological that is all.

My main point was about the estradiol.

is the estraidol reading of <32 bad? the doc told me it was normal...i stopped the nolva but every so often my niples still bother me...i was wondering if that could b from the estrogen, if itsnt normal, like one of u guys had said, but it was even bothering me while i was taking the nolva, so i dunno.

liftr486, you have missed my point. Estradiol <32pg/ml is not bad it is considered the normal range of estradiol for men by some labs. Others have it at like 10-50pg/ml.

The point is this. Estradiol, even withinin the "normal" range has a negative feedback influence on your HPTA (hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular-axis) that lowers your gonatropins and testosteron levels. For example if your estradiol was 30 pg/ml and you lowered it to 15pg/ml your testosterone would probably go up alot. However, the nolvas and clomid complicate the picture. My bet is that it would be desireable for you to know more precisely what your estradiol levels are, and if they are above say 10-15pg/ml to get on arimidex and get off the nolva and clomid unless your doctor has told you to take them. That is just what I would do. There is alot of evidence that in hypogondal as well as eugonadal men arimidex basically cuts your estrogen levels in half and in turn increass your testosterone levels by about 50 percent and that there is no tolerance to this effect. I don't know if this is true for clomid and nolva.

You guys have me all confused now, I was just recently told that I should take HCG for 3weeks along w/ Nolva and 50mg clomid, Now I'm reading you guys saying that HCG will hurt you in the long run as to rasing T levels? I am 3months out from ending a cycle, did short post cyce 1wk HCG & 2wks Clomid, and my levels where in the basement like 129 about 2weeks ago, Am I right or wrong by trying to do another post cycle deal with the HCG & Clomid as stated above?

i dont really wanna take arimidex b/c i dont want my estro to get lowered too low...do u think 6-oxo might b a good alternative? also, if my estro are w/i range, how come my nipples still bother me??

Just let yourself continue to recover naturally. Your LH and FSH values are in the normal range and you have normal testicular mass. Don't fck around with anymore drugs, herbs, or hormones at this point. You have done everything reasonable, now do what your doc/endo are telling you wait it out for a month or two. Things are going in the right direction, you just have to be patient at this point.

but y does my chest still bother me and why are they still puffy?? so far from the end of my cycle??
