Knees hurting like a bitch today so I decided to leave squats until friday. Not really much of a workout to be honest but still better than nothing.


Trap bar deadlifts warmup then 550 x 5,6,5


Bench warmup then 285 x 5,5,4

Dips + 130 x 5,5 + 180 BOMBED GRRRR

Dips 50 in 7:48 for shits and giggles.

That is all. Next time I will do better.


ps. my training partner got a not-too-hard rep with 400 on the trap bar on this first time using it. Not too shabby imo.

I dunno b, the nearest thing to cardio I've done recently is Christmas shopping so it's gotta be training related. Maybe the high volume pause squats I did last week.

I was a little worried that dip stand would be flimsy but it's rock solid.... even a big old boy like you would have trouble making it sway :) The ironmind belt is the shit and the 24" dumbells are killer... I gotta get a few shots of my new toys up sometime

Thanks ChewYxRage I'm hoping the dips are gonna bring up my arms over the next couple of months.
 
Is it the weather thats messing with your knee? when the cold hits my lower back, it makes it its bitch.
 
Bro, you keep getting bigger and bigger. It seems like your strength came back quickly from the lay off, and the mass is still catching up. You are finally starting to look like someone who lifts this crazy weight
 
thanks rev I'm eating insane amounts of food, 6 meals a day plus shakes so I'm certainly getting bigger! dunno how much of it is muslce tho :p

with my frame I look small even at 225 so I'm hoping to add another 10lbs or so over the next few months without getting too fat
 
hey tweakle how are you holding those plates between your legs? I usually use dumbbells for weighted dips, but then again, Im only doing 40lbs so far. But hey you gotta start somewhere. :D
