you can totally tell she was the type of kid who was mean to other girls. now she's 40 and getting divorced (big surprise).

so she won't talk to me, for no good reason other than she likes drama and to play the victim and to complain CONSTANTLY. i hate that.

but now, my boss gave her an assignment directly. She can't do it without my help, and she's going to HAVE to come to my office.

teehee. bitch. :)
 
Keep telling her you are too busy and will get with her soon to help.
 
People who have issues and are difficult to work with -- have insecurity and god knows what else issues inside of them.

Since you're not a shrink, and they're not your responsibility - DEVALUE them.

Don't hang around them. Don't laugh with them. They are NOTHING to you. You won't let them contiminate you with their dogshit. Eventually they'll get the message.

And when you have to work with her - be professional and to the point. Then go back to ignoring her.

That's the only way these people learn. Catering to them, trying to 'help' or 'understand' them only hurts you eventually, and validates their behavior so they continue on with it.

Lots of people like that in the cubicle world. People who failed in their dreams, and now hate the world around them - cuz they got shafted in every department. But you're not their keeper. Theyre grown adults, responsible for their own decisions.

that's what i'm going to do.

Her coworker is also working on a project that she needs my help with. She came to me today, i was a huge help, and now she's busy working on it.

The other one had to leave early today, but i KNOW tomorrow morning she's going to have to start or not finish by the deadline.
I am going to avoid her as long as i can, then be sweet as pie but barely help. :)

yeah, no.

I hate complainers too- and she bitches about EVERYTHING.
we renovated our bathrooms in work. They are now really nice- everything is automated and there's a shower and changing room and they keep it stocked with everything we could need. She complained that it took too long. well wtf.
