Ive actually been doing hyperextensions a few times a week, it seems to help out some, but lower back still very sore. Some days more than others.. I noticed any standing free weight movements irritate it, so I try to do everything seated..
yea i hear you my back is fucked up. i have such a small frame i compress my spine when i go real heavy. i'm gonna start doing those excercises high rep less weight cause i need to start doing them again but i can't deal with the lower back pain i had
Lower back pain as in your spinal erectors? (the muscles that are isolated doing hyperextentions)
If so, working mine more got them to be less bitch asses... once you bring them up to par your core will feel much better... it's not about avoiding exercises that hurt less... it's about bringing up weak muscles...
It will suck for a few weeks... but they'll thank me for it. I even have to lie down on the gym floor sometimes for a minute... then once they recover i'm back at it, lol.
