Anxiety/panic attack

goodbroo

New member
Hey guys yesterday i got my first shot of sustanon at around 2 pm, but at night i experienced an anxiety panic attack, my heart palpitations whent sky high, my breathing rate increased, i thought i was going to die really.

I live alone so i was was scarred sh*tless for about 3 minutes then the panic attack was over.

So im thinking here, could this be anyway related to the sustanon since i only took the first shot today ?

Should i take my other shot of sust on thursday or will it result on another anxiety attack ?

I used to get anxiety every time I did a shot. A couple hundred shots later and I barely even think about it. For me it did help to not look while I was pushing the plunger down, and stop half way through if necessary to calm down while leaving the needle in.

Good luck bro

Yes this could have a lot to do with it. I think you should talk to swole. He has been dealing with problems like this for a wile. Or hard rock he seems to know a thing or 2 about it.

Hmm, I never had a panic or anxiety attack from the shot itself...shit I get excited when I plunge myself  I only had major anxiety issues on EQ, but if you're prone to it then I would assume any AAS can trigger anxiety. There really wasn't much I could do except tell myself it was in my head. The chest pains and heart palpitations sucked, god I will never touch EQ again. After I got off that cycle I hopped on some derma then went on an HCG regime. I felt amazing, like a new man. Now I'm on test enanthate and primo...I feel like a fucking gorilla.

If you assume the problem is the sus shot then you're likely to have another attack whether it's the true culprit or not. I know test levels elevate even after long-ester test shots so maybe it's your body's method of reaction. Try it again and see how it goes.

How's the bp? A visit to the doc doesn't hurt...no need to tell him about the juice just yet. See if there's an underlying problem (most likely not) besides generalized anxiety. Maybe hearing a doc say there's nothing wrong with your heart will help alleviate the problem.

Feel free to PM me with anything bro.

My thoughts are that this ANXIETY/PANIC that everyone talks about is merely adrenaline. I don't have the time to get into what I've been through in the last 9 months, but testosterone, and the adrenals are very interconnected. Not just testosterone but any anabolic/androgenic agent. Don't worry, you will not Die, and you are not in any danger. I've recently been put on a beta blocker. It seems that I have run on adrenaline or much larger amounts of it my entire life, due to low dopamine/norepinephrine levels in my brain.

Here;s a little cut and paste for your reading enjoyment.

Norepinephrine (INN) (abbreviated norepi or NE) or noradrenaline (BAN) is a catecholamine with dual roles as a hormone and a neurotransmitter.

Norepinephrine is synthesized from dopamine by dopamine β-hydroxylase.[2] It is released from the adrenal medulla into the blood as a hormone, and is also a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system and sympathetic nervous system where it is released from noradrenergic neurons. The actions of norepinephrine are carried out via the binding to adrenergic receptors.

As a stress hormone, norepinephrine affects parts of the brain where attention and responding actions are controlled. Along with epinephrine, norepinephrine also underlies the fight-or-flight response, directly increasing heart rate, triggering the release of glucose from energy stores, and increasing blood flow to skeletal muscle.

You're pretty much right on the money Monkey. There can be a million things that trigger it, but it is a response from the adrenaline release. If you were about to jump out of a plane, it would feel normal. But when you are giving an injection, driving, or just sitting on the couch, it feels like you are going to die.

They treat panic many times with SSRI's. But for me what worked best is Adderall.

Regardless, what you had goodbro was a textbook panic attack. I have had hundreds of them and they suck. This may do little for you if it happens again, but just remember that they won't hurt you. Don't further it by fighting it or panicking worse. Go run down the street or do as many pushups as you can or anything to take your mind off it. But something physical at least will utilize the adrenaline.

Relax your breathing and just chill. Try not to worry about another one happening. That's anticipatory anxiety. You almost worry it into happening. Am I going to have one here. Will people see me. Good luck.

I think he's saying he took a shot at 2pm and then at night had a panic attack. Most of these answers assume he paniced during or shortly after the shot. He needs to tell us if he is prone to these attacks or if this was the first one he's had.

wow thanks for the answers boys. I never had a panic attack in my life so last night was a pretty hard hit on me. And as swole said the hard palpitations and chest pain are really a big motherf*cker.

I dought it was sust, because that was the first shot of my cycle, maybe too little t start any reaction.

And i not gonna lie, i have a 'weak' mind and all the problems just made it worse, last year was a dificult year, and this year i have just been thinking alot, specially when i hit bed time.

ST8grad, thanks for the advice too, when it occurred, i just start walknig the whole house about 5 times and i could come to a chill.

my next shot is on thursday, and im not worried, now i know what happened to me, and that im not gonna die, FRIDAY i will let you guys know how it went for me, maybe it had nothing to do with the sus right ......

thanks anyway, and for all of those who have or had panic attacks, they suck, but be strong.

Take it from a panic attack veteran, panic attacks are hit or miss for sure... they can happen moments after a shot, even if you're perfectly calm...or excited (in a good way)... they can happen an hour later or a day later... there is definitely a connection between the entire A A S process and panic attacks... best thing is to convince yourself that you're truly not dying (because that's what it always feels like)... drink some water...walk around... call someone... a neat little trick is to pinch yourself in various spots a bunch of times... the pain from it detracts your mind from the actual attack.

If you're prone to attacks or anxiety in general, keep that in mind when considering A A S... it likely will get worse.
