first time i used a box, i also used a fake name and there was no problem at all--it was a post office on a campus, so the boxes turned over alot. second time it was a regular post office and i used a bogus company name. i had to fake a letter head from the company authorizing me to receive mail, and have my friend wait at a payphone (i put the number on the letterhead) in case they called. still, i was scared shitless having to go in there and wait for everything to get approved. here's the important part--i really had no choice bc the sender obviously used a fake return addy, so the only place for the authorities to look once they open the package is to my po box, with my real name on it (bc, yes, you have to show id). i think it's best to send it to your house (or a friend's if you have roommates) addressed to the person who used to live there--we all get other people's old mail
