some people experience huge toxicity from booze. theyre nauseous, have trouble concentrating, their water/salt balance gets out of whack, nervous system takes a hit etc - these people probably couldnt get away with itdanymal04 said:Is it possible to drink alcohol and still remain in form? Well... athletes do it in h.s., college, pros, more of the ones being on in college and pros. There is a guy on my team who can incline bench 355x3 times and on the weekends he gets obliviated. It's all about cardio, the harder the cardio and work out the harder you train, the harder people seem to party to get away from it or just have fun. They don't think about their liver, the effects it will have on them down the road. I garuntee you that most people could care less. I guess it all depends on the mood your in and how much you care about your training...
to others, though, alcohol is just a carb. i have a buddy who goes out and gets blind drunk on weekends, wakes up 6 hours later with a big smile on his face, ready to go to they gym and build a house
personally, if i drink too much, dont ocme near me, dont let me behind the wheel of a car, dont ask me anything, just leave me the hell alone for a day while my brain recovers, and my strenght is in the toilet for 2-3 days. also, i hold water like a balloon, and so clomp around like a stray buffalo
so it depends
