alcatraz pullup post

Bro, it wasnt me that made that post lol

I used to be able to hit over 30 regularily, but now I only do about 25 reps for pullups...reason being is no one here trains in a way that enables you to do pullups like you're a convict...lol

Why would I want to be able to do 100 pullups when I can do sets of 20 and ne bigger and stronger and look better than someone that does 200 pullups in a row? I have no interest in the number of pullups or pushups or situps I can do...my interest is in being able to out bench, out lift most guys that rep it out like that, and be able to rip their arms off in an arm wrestling match or knock them out in a fight, to be honest...this is why I train...

this is why the tapout crowd annoys me everyday is like
a ufc match to them
:(

I've NEVER picked a fight with anyone in my life...I honestly try avoid fights because someone who's been lifting for 10 years and fighting for 11 can really hurt someone....but it's good to know that if something goes down, I'll be ready for anything...

I'm not involved with the tapout crowd...I hate tapout, buncha wannabes wearing fight shirts they dont even fight or train...pretending to be badass...they are easily intimidated if you stare them down...buncha pussies

i was doing sets of pullups and she just decided to tell me how many she could do. i said lets see and all of a sudden she is having a seizure on the pullup bar kipping lol. first time i had seen that.

lmao

its always awkward when a girl shows off incorrectly, and you start laughing out of embarrasment, and have to make up a reason why ur laughing, then it makes u laugh harder, so u have to fess up and finally be like

"what the fuck was that"

when I first starting doing crossfit I figured this was something I would do on and off, as a break from my regular lifting cause I didn't think you got terribly strong from these kind of wkts, just fit. But there's guys at that crossfit website that are not just insanely fit, but are insanely strong. Dave Lipson can do an overhead squat with like 330 pounds. That means he's locking the bar out over his head and then dips down for the squat. Him and Jason Khalipa over there are probably among the most overall athletic people on the entire planet. I mean not only are these guys ridiculously strong for being only a couple pounds over 200......they are ridiculously fit. Lipson could enter some strongman competitions and not embarass himself. Those guys are on another level.

Athlete Profile: Dave Lipson - Northeast Regional : 2010 CrossFit Games

This is a video of khalipa.....not doing any great amount of weight but remember this dude is 5'9 a hair over 200 and squats/deads well over 400

just nonstop. Sick^^^

don't get me wrong way sick but why not do correct pullups instead of the rediculous kilping ones?
everything else is pimp why skip over that in the name of quanity?
form>quanity

i think the idea is to make it a higher rep scheme, to be matched up with the pushups and bodyweight squats...

its obviously harder to do a pullup than a pushup, but the (gay as fuck) kilping allows for the affect of an assisted pullup, while still targeting the lattissimus.

/my guess

and i'd armwrestle teh fug outta you!

lol...I hope you weren't talking to me bro..I'd rip your arm out of it's socket :)

I'm doing the Ontario armwrestling championship on
