I was always admired Platz but Gaspari was just one big vein. Whenever I think of Gaspari I have one image which pops into mind from one of the mags where he's in a most-muscular. 70's looked good because of artistic photo's.
80's BBers like gaspari or Platz looked amazing but (and I LOVE these old guys so I say this sadly, BUT) put them on a stage with Dexter Jackson or Gustavo Badel and the image fades...
I never really understood the appeal of Zane. The women back then were just ideal. Mental images of Carla Dunlap and Rachel McLish will live with me forever. Cory Everson exuded animal grace but I guess her days were the start of the divide.
