70's guide to training

70's looked good because of artistic photo's.

80's BBers like gaspari or Platz looked amazing but (and I LOVE these old guys so I say this sadly, BUT) put them on a stage with Dexter Jackson or Gustavo Badel and the image fades...

I was always admired Platz but Gaspari was just one big vein. Whenever I think of Gaspari I have one image which pops into mind from one of the mags where he's in a most-muscular. Fantasic development but you can hardly see his muscles for his vascularity.

I never really understood the appeal of Zane. The women back then were just ideal. Mental images of Carla Dunlap and Rachel McLish will live with me forever. Cory Everson exuded animal grace but I guess her days were the start of the divide.

Does anyone else think Franco was the strongest bodybuilder for his size? Ive seen clips of him moving cars that were parallel parked.

dr.franco columbu,scott wilson,pat neve,roy callender,ray mentzer,sair bannout,frank zane,robby robinson,paul love,richard baldwin,arnold scharzenegger,and my faverit lou ferrigno.they were all from the 80's and they were all huge riped. There skin was so tight is was like plastic wrap on thare muscles.All of them traind under joe weider.even thow joe clams that his athlets nevver usd A.S wich we all know is bullshit .his tranning techniques
were and still are the bast in the world.I would recommend his book "the wieder system of bodybuilding.to anny one from begginer to pro.It has thousands of defferant techniques for tranning.it is by fare one of the bast books ever
