625x5 Deadlift At Age 18 . . . we should all quit

Strong as balls.....

Straps don't make you pull harder, lol, if you can hook grip or pull mixed grip, adding straps won't add an ounce to your deadlift. Also.....rounded back pulling is legit, if your erectors are conditioned, there is virtually no way to get hurt.

As far as the comments about the kid's physique......and it goes both ways on threads where someone will post a pic of a guy at 6% bodyfat and someone will chime in that he's a weak bitch........it's just plain old silly :rainbow:

Can't people just take a great accomplishment and appreciate it for what it's worth?? It's like saying, 'Boy that Justin Timberlake can really entertain a crowd and sell records, but I bet he can't squat 500 though'......or 'Warren Sap can play some DT, but he is fat, I'd rather be ripped and answer the door in my skivvies'...If somebody cures cancer, and he doesn't lift weights also, will somebody say "who cares, I'd rather spend my time getting huge and ripped than contributing positively to society and future generations'...it's just ridiculous, lol......take an accomplishment at face value, or don't post at all.

The funny thing, to me, about these "fat powerlifter" vs. "6-pack Abercrombie" disputes is that the fat man can diet down to 8% pretty easily and will be strong and big as shit, but the Abercrombie 6-packer will need 5 yeras of hard hard traininig to hope to even SINGLE w/ 600.

Don't be silly! The "6-pack Abercrombie" guy could never get that 600.
 
Why would he want to do something so stupid? Everyone knows deadlifts are bad for the back and create a blocky waist... and powerlifting makes you fat.

very true, this is why i still respect his strength reguardless....

i just wouldnt quit my PL carrer lol
