Nice post Bro...K your way....I just consider bodybuilding a lifestyle. I know I'll never be even close to the biggest. But it is nice being able to turn heads on the beach....lol.....At least I'll look good in my coffinTrendsetter21 said:I'm 5'10 205lbs and I don't consider myself big at all. Although I do know some people because they are so cut at around 6' 200lbs that makes them look a lot bigger. But I wouldn't consider anyone to be built unless they were in the 240 and up range where you are. You look pretty big and cut and would be considered a pretty big guy in my book. One of the biggest monsters I know is my friend Dave who is 6'4 295lbs and shredded..........my wife always says you look pretty big and then I met up with him and she came out and I was like see honey, thats what a big guy looks like lol. But by no means are you one of the smaller guys, maybe compared to power lifters but they are usually 300lbs and up. (Yes I know some are smaller so any power lifters that are its just a general statement don't get upset lol)
Thanks for the compliment.Zuperman said:Small?

702...Your definately a solid Bro... And to the others I am not fishing for compliments. I do not eat junk food or drink alcohol or go out to the bars etc... I have chosen this as my lifestyle. I just worry about some of the younger guys that ask "hey is it ok to drink on Dbol" etc... Compliments don't matter to me. It's all how I see myself in the mirror. But believe me; for average joes, either skinny as a flag pole or fat as a cow, you are HUGE; and even a 6' tall 200 pounds of muscle is HUGE for them; because "pure muscle" is not "normal" on the streets; it takes a lot of sacrifice, discipline, hard work, sweat, years and years. They know that, because EVERYBODY has lifted a dumbell at one point of their lives; 99% of them fail the first day.
DJ you have hit on it I believe. Because we are never looking down we always have an opinion of ourselves as being smaller than others. I suppose for my "age" Im pretty big but I dont compare myself with people of my "age". I compare my self to 30 yr old pro BBers. LOL now I can compete in Masters Comps its a bit wacky in my head!DJ_UFO said:With so many years working out, juicing, watching bigger people, going to bodybuilding shows, reading bodybuilding magazines, you get used to that look; you'll always look up, never down; that's why under your opinion, you'll always be small in front of the mirror. AS SMOKEY SAID IN THE MOVIE "FRIDAY"Kidda said:Dude you are BIG and RIPPED. To be in the single digits of bf like you definately are at 248 at 6ft is seriously jacked. You have an elite competitive bodybuilder look, obviously not the size some of these monsters have (Coleman, Cutler, James, Yates etc.). but still huge and more appealing!!

I've been over 200 but since I'm naturally slender I found I look and feel better (at this age) at around 190. I actually look bigger than when I'm heaviier because I have more seperation at that weight. I see a lot of guys who think they're bad motherfuckers who, to me, just look like they're fat.

lMAO....First of all I don't shave all my bodyhair, I don't compete so I don't wear "a manthong" or prance on stage. It amazes me that you seem to know an awful lot about the whole thing....That worries me.Tirpitz said:olololll
you were raised that a man should hypertan, shave all his body hair, don a manthong and prance on stage, be so insecure that you are constantly seeking reaffirmation of your "hugeness?"
to me that sounds the complete opposite of masculine.

At the age of 45 I've decided I'm big enough. Not because I've reached the look of superhero massiveness that I invisioned for myself, but because I've become so uncomfortable at this weight that I'm no longer willing to suffer additionally for more size. I think trenbolone sides has as much to do with this discomfort as the actual size, but without the Tren I'd never be 317 (6'6")with visible abs IMO. Pic from last Sunday -![]()
It's not like I have a future as a Mr. O competitior, or any chance of making a living as a profesional powerlifter. I do it for the love of the sports, and I get some ego satisfaction from freakin' the shit out of people with my size - lol.
After I've backed off 20 pounds perhaps my hunger will return?
and that may be true...but i think it's obvious that you are afflicted as well.BOWTECH said:lMAO....First of all I don't shave all my bodyhair, I don't compete so I don't wear "a manthong" or prance on stage. It amazes me that you seem to know an awful lot about the whole thing....That worries me.
You also need to give credit where credit is due. Just to be able to be in the shape to step onstage is an incredible feet. But to sit back and poke fun at those who do from your couch or a barstool is just plain foolish. You have no idea what it takes to maintain or build a physique like that. Then again that's called insecurity.

imo, the definition of masculinity is more than just bicep size or how much you can squat.
character as well...150lb bean poles can command more respect than a big mofos and i've witnessed this first hand in sports

Nelson Montana said:One last thing. I respect the obsession toward getting bigger and as a bodybuilder I think you have to go through that stage. But we all have a limit. A lot of these really big guys had the frame to support it. I've see bodybuilders who are big, but not so much from lifting weights. They're guys who lift weights who are just big anyway. I know I couldn't carry 260. No way no how, no matter how much I trained, ate or juiced. It'd look stupid.
And yes, I know some powerlifter guys don't care about the "pretty boy muscles" but as far as I'm concerned it's all about looking good and feeling good, not how much I can lift or how much space I take up. I grew up at a time when you worked out to look like a god, not a house. I wanted to impress the girl on the step master, not the guys in the squat rack.
i agree, no offense to the PL here, but i dont like that look, i dont "press to impress"Nelson Montana said:One last thing.
