They catch fish like that here in Mississippi and Alabama on trot lines. That may be why it only took 20 minutes to wrestle it in. I have seen a few fish about that size come out of the Tombigbee River in Alabama.

Wow the wonders of the waters! Who knows what kind of extraordinary creatures are down there. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a 500lbs catfish swimming around somewhere.
