Blue Cats are known to be huge so he was probably prepared...and 20 minutes is a lifetime in reeling in a fish...LOL.

If I had a digital cam, I would post up pics of my pet channel cat - not that I stick a ruler in its tank but i would say its 12-14" long, about 3 years old, I'm thinking growth stunted since it is only in a 55gallon aquarium. Mine goes pigshit wild at any opportunity, maybe they slow down with age because every type of catfish i have caught while fishing was lazy and didn't put up a fight when being reeled in. that being said, I would not touch that catfish without thick leather gloves.

ANyone ever seen pics of the 8" long catfish people catch over in like, Italy or somewhere? disgusting.

Fo sho, Cedar Creek Lake and Possom Kingdom are known for having 6' and 100-150lb catfish near the dams. In fact, years ago, the scuba diving was stopped near Possom Kingdom Lake's Dam due to overwhelmingly large catfish.

They stopped the dumb asses that were diving down and spear fishing the monsters.

stupid fucks had one end of the spear tied to their ankle or wrist and the fish would just drown them.
