i know a lot of people who got 99+ weeks of barry bucks(unemployment) ^^^^ a lot needed it since they all missed out on the 2 million shovel in hand jobs barry was talking about during his campaign.

The biggest problem with Barry bucks is they are being payed by future generations of people who largely don't exist yet.
 
there has been years where i paid into unemployment and didn't collect. but i was on obama money for most of the last year to be honest. work has been tough since the banks are giving out construction loans as much. i would piss off the people at the unemployment office when they were messing up my claim at the begining when i kept calling unemployment "barry bucks" they were like "man what da hell is barry bucks?" then i'd be like "lemme tell you so you understand" "i need to gets my ma fuggin obama money! i wanna be like you and have barack take care o me, know what i'm sayin."

The solution is to get jobs going again.

But with uncertain tax rates, energy costs and health care costs, employers just aren't going to hire for a very long time.

alot of people take advantage of this...but there is also alot of people that desperately need this and its not because of irresponsibility, its due to lack of decent paying jobs...when i got back to michigan i was completely blow away at the amount of people on unemployment, food assistance etc etc... I put in over 30 resumes to diff companies that were hiring in my job field that I had been employed for last 7 years....not 1 call back...nothing...after 4 monhts of searching i finally found a bar job out of all things...then shortly after that got a sales gig...

i feel for the people that generally need the help...once you go from having steady income and a normal life and that gets cut to nothing its hard to come back no matter what you do...

not true...it's due to years-and-years of fucking morons paying waaaaaaaaaaayyyyy more for houses (and housing) than what they were worth...the concept of fair market value never crossed anyone's mind...the mythical "increase in value" was a bullshit farce perpetrated by the real estate industry and perpetuated by the banking industry (and the fed...and bill fucking clinton and his "no doc" loan regime)...welcome to the new world order...enjoy your stay.

depends on what group of students you are comparing...our system is all-inclusive...every other system on earth separates students into classes (i.e. castes) at a very young age based on tested aptitude (and, at times, who your family is and what they have always done for a living)...the road you are heading down above ^^^^ is an apples and oranges argument...jus' sayin'.

if you compare the % of us high school students that are proficient in math vs chinese students - you get the real picture. I've tried to hire americans for high skilled jobs and the resumes I do get are from losers who aren't even qualified. Those I do interview have average skills, horrible work ethic and want the world. When I hire foreigners, they blow me away. Most IT/Engineering depts in most companies now are mainly made up of foreigners. There's a reason.

the good u.s. students don't have to send out resumes...they get scooped up before they even graduate...and they get a signing bonus and all sorts of other fun perks...maybe that's the reason??

I won't argue about our public school system being the suck but once you get to a 4 year college it changes. The United States has some of the best higher education in the world; Oxford recruited and snagged one of my professors at Ohio State....a state school with a top notch program.

What is the per capita number of US citizens with a college degree in math and science Vs. the per capita number of Chinese citizens with a math and science degree? I can't tell you but my gut instinct is the United States is more educated PER CAPITA, there are large parts of China still living in the Middle Ages. Selection bias determines that you will meet intelligent and educated foreigners studying, working and teaching in the United States. As a matter of fact, top math and physics graduates went to Wall Street and created credit default swaps as opposed to looking for relatively low paying IT job, that bubble burst under Clinton. Just sayin'.

After all, IT'S NOT HER MONEY, THE GOVERNMENT MAKES IT FOR HER.

Getting mad doesn't really accomplish anything I know. I'm really a very calm person. I really don't like politics I know it doesn't sound like it but I don't, but I do like money, I have a little bit of it in a jar on top of my refrigerator, and this is just one of the stupid ways it's being taken from us.

that's what i was saying in my response above...and it's not just china...hell, it's pretty much every other country in the world...if you show an aptitude at an early age, you are separated and IMMERSED...you can't compare our all-inclusive system to any other system in the world and gleen any useful statistics...it's apples and oranges...i'm not smart enough to tell you which system is better, but overall i have a hunch that it's ours...after all, where do all these geniuses coming looking for a job at the end of the day??? here...in the land of opportunity.
