i don't think its a matter of impatience just a matter of my goals.... the way i see it is what is a life where u don't go all out fuckn 100% after what u wanna do?

"All out" for what? Maybe a trophy, a few pics in a magazine and working as a gay escort?

Good luck with your goals.

Again with the bottom line. I would have to agree with him on this point.

There is a very dark side of competitive BBing.

The life of an IFBB pro is NOT all that it is cut out to be, especially if you never make it as Mr. O.

Very few make a lot of money.

The competitive BBers I know who have done really well for themselves do so by

1. Owning gyms (and then most of them still do PT work)

2. Being educated and have the ability to write/do research into supps etc

3. Become trainers to other competitive BBers

I know one of the natural Mr. Universes.

He now works as a personal trainer in London.

There is a very strong link with the porn/sex trade industry in BBing.

Know your limits and what you are prepared and not prepared to do.

Personally, I think even going the gym/PT route would do my head in, I spend enough time in the gym with my own training, and I LOVE it.

Too much of the same thing would ruin it for me.

I also know of a lot of people who have gotten their pro cards in the nattie feds and IFBB and don't do a lot with them, as it is EXPENSIVE to compete.

Plus...nobody becomes a pro by doing steroids. If you have exceptional potential and start blowing everyone away in shows and want to take it to the next level, sure, you need gear and lots of it -- so much so that you won't make any money. But if that's what you want to do, I respect that. But thinking that it's a career is a joke. Stay on that path and you're bound for loser-dom.

You chose the live so make sure you live it, don't become another statistic against us, become something others want to be.

the odds of becoming financially successful as a bodybuilder are even worse than becoming a pro ballplayer. very few make it.

that doesnt mean abandon the dream, but it means you should be realistic and prepare an alternative path for your life in case this falls tru.

continue your education and a plot an alternative carear path in a related or unrelated area

Have you competed in any shows yet?

Can you post some pics? I'm interested to see at what stage of your development you decided juice was right for you.

i was prepping for the mr.missouri contest last year but due to job troubles i had to leave my gym and my trainer. it sucked hardcore , but now im at a new gym and i'm bulking up to 230 or so . i just need to find someone willing to guide me and help me get into a contest again . ill post some pics later but i gotta get going i got finals today :worried:

I couldn't even imagine trying to get that kind of money at such a young age...what do your parents think? just wondering if they are supportive or in most cases they probably dont know....either way I'd say get in the good habit of constantly monitoring your health, make sure you network and market yourself properly and its good to have a long term goal but make sure you set short term goals for yourself as well. good luck
