    In essence hes right... but about the muscle... you might loose some. Your body is probably in catabolic state when you wake up.. Having 130 calorie protein shake for me, and then doing just around 15 minutes of cardio (Hiit) will probably burn around 150 calories... so for the other 15 minutes...

    Start with diet and do cardio and basic aerobics.. If you want to lift, do resistance training instead so you can take it easy on the ol hernia... dont stress it ive been there. Get at it, but dont go full speed if you havent been doing anything for a while. Good luck!

    Wether you want to get huge or just loose your gut, you should be taking in at least 1g protein per 1lb body weight. I gain muscle when cutting.... lean muscle =)

    Treat your body like a temple... Better the stuff you put in the better you feel. Try not taking all salt out of your diet. Instead try cycling it. 1 gallon of water seems right, dont know about the gallon of green tea tho... Just watch what you eat and write everything down. Good luck.
