High Prolactin cause this???

Dopamine is linked to intelligence. So since prolactin blunts dopamine. Does this really mean that high prolactin just blunts intelligence?

I'm asking because I read on a few med articles that dopamine is linked to intelligence. The higher the dopamine..the sharper you are.

And I know 3 people whos prolactin is high. And I must admit *in plain english*, they are quite fucking dumb! Can't focus nor concentrate. Say the dumbest things that don't make any sense. And constantly do dumb shit! To the point where others get very upset at the dumb shit they do.

And they I always here from them the same crap over and over again.

"Why do these terrible things happen to me?" "Why do so many people dislike me after a while?" "Why is the whole world against me?" "Why do I keep doing these dumb things?"

No. There prolactin is HIGH. Not low.

After doing more research. I just read up on a womans site that HIGH prolactin causes the following....

Poor judgement and reasoning
Poor memory and concentration
low self esteem and self image


There are many more to list.


I'm taking the answer is YES. High prolactin does make a person into one dumb dipshit.
