i've been working out with a chick for over a year now. . .i kick her ass all week long. . .but once a week she makes me do this girly-ass workout with dumbells and those big rubber balls and shit. . .we start with 15 minutes on the rowing machine, couple of minutes at around 850 calories to warm up, then we run it up over 1,000 calories for the rest of the 15 minutes. . .after that, we dive into the girly-workout. . .a couple of the exercises are down-right un-manly. . .yet, most times, by the time we finish, i'm reduced to a sweat-soaked quivering ball, laying on the floor in a fetal position.
our last set is a 3rd set of pushups on one of those big rubber balls. . .each time i do a couple more than the time before. . .and she beats my ass. . .two weeks ago, i did 50 and she did 53. . .last week, i did 57 and she did 63. . .makes no sense. . .she can bench 15lbs more than her body weight for a couple of reps. . .i can bench 15lbs more than my bodyweight for 15 or 18 reps. . .but, every week, there i am, laying on the floor with her standing over me. . .calling me names. . .ponderous. . .
