Yes but it would take a federal officer to do anything, state officers would have no power.. We had the same thing happen when medical marijuana was introduced and Obama told the DEA to defer to state judgment

dea has been raiding and arresting quite a few people around my area in oregon, one dude just recently got ten years for production of a controlled substance (weed)
another got 3...both were right on the knifes edge of being legal but it didn't matter.
they took pleas to avoid 20-30

not from here orginally but here now...i bounce between s.oregon and norcal.
in norcal earlier this year i had to particpate in some bullshit raid...the discovery channel was there filming it, all the pigs were gilly suited out with auto rifles and flak jackets and jungle camo.
it was pretty hiliarious, they heli buzzed the grow about 6 days before the raid, then again they buzzed it 3 days before...then finally on the day of the raid they buzzed it then a couple hours later put boots on the ground.
and of course, nobody was arrested or caught, they were long gone proly after the first time the heli flew over.
once they hauled all the shit into a LZ they film crew was filming all these badass drug warriors standing around this massive mound of plant matter, acting like military conquerors as opposed to peace officers...disgusting that i had to be a part of this fiasco

nah bro don't do it not worth it...chose washington or colorado, or even oregon.
i can't imagine the regulation you'd have to pay/hack thru to get a ag business up in running in CA (isn't that your plan)...just the registration on your work trucks will cost thousands
