there are so many angles i have yet to see done in a zombie movie. i heard world war z was being made and the book was awesome. i hope we start getting some main stream stuff out. if they can make vampires over and over again in every other film, we should get 3 or 4 zombie movies a year.

Did you know he massively ripped off Richard's Matheson's I am Legend in developing that story? Romero likes to say he was "paying homage" to the earlier film adaptation of it (starring Vincent Price) but I read in an interview where Matheson said he just though Romero did a very thinly veiled, unimaginative retread of Legend.

this i did know. i dont understand the remake of i am legend. it is nowhere near the original idea. they should have changed the title. i am legend is supposed to represent the star being a legend amongst the vampires as their fiercest hunter. instead, hollywood makes it about a cure. another great story put through the meat grinder of hollywood. id watch omega man before i am legend.
