Your proudest lift?

That's even more impressive.
I don't know that I would have gotten my 225 on a second attempt if I missed the first one. That's why I was holding the lockout for so long.:D

If I miss a weight I know I can get... I wont quit until I am beat into the ground.

For better or worse... that is generally how I am.

I don't think I'm really proud of anything. It was cool when I beat my mentor's deadlift record though.

185lb Squats last week. Past parallel. 2 sets of 3, then 2, then 1.

Yeah yeah... I know... I know.

This time next year though I hope to be doing MUCH more weight.

all the big milestones
first time I benched 315lbs for 5 reps
first time I squatted over 405lbd for 5 reps
first time I deadlifted over 500lbs for reps
And first time I deadlifted a raw 600lbs, at a bodyweight of 215lbs

Carried my niece for over a mile while she was asleep. Couldn't move my arms and shoulders for about ten minutes after I finally got to put her down. Sleeping kids are like carrying dead weight around.

Cheers,
Scotsman

That is SO true! My son was a late walker. Didn't start walking until about 16 months old, and by then we weighed almost 30 pounds. I had to carry him everywhere, and I know exactly what you mean.
