Your proudest lift?

my best lift wasnt my greatest , but i could incline dumbell press the 120's for 10 reps, drove an hour to a gym in evansville indiana and incline the 135's for 6 reps. I did the 120 for 2 and stopped and decided to see if i could get maybe one rep or a static hold and slow negative on the press. I remember this lift because i caught the flu and was sick for a week afterwards. I think i caught the flu on the way home because my immune system was week because that lift was so hard.
Anyone else?

I think my best lift is my bench press @ 308 pounds or maybe even my 231 push press. They're pretty weak, but everything else sucks in comparison. Never satisfied, I guess.

I'm always happy to achieve a new PR on any lift, especially one of "The Big Three;" however, training with Wilson6 and doing a 50 rep set on a Nebulus Leg Press was a pretty daunting task. I'm still not sure if/how much Wilson6 helped me toward the end, but it was 7 plates each side (plus sled weight), and I was to do 25, pause 5 seconds, 15, pause 5 seconds, then the last 10. The pause did not involve locking the weight up, it was a soft locked hold while still bearing all the weight. This was after heavy squats. Physically, it wasn't that hard to recover from, I was able to go right on with my workout, but mentally it was quite a feat.

Benching 475 this past Saturday. It was an eye opener and gave me some added motivation to step up my training and shoot for a BIGGER bench. I guess it came at the right time. I'm in the middle of trying to get my lower back stronger/increasing ham flexibility and that's frustrating. Now, I have something to channel this frustration to.

lol i missed it 3 times before getting it, all in work out.

i'm just dumb and persistent.

:)

That's even more impressive.
I don't know that I would have gotten my 225 on a second attempt if I missed the first one. That's why I was holding the lockout for so long.:D

If I miss a weight I know I can get... I wont quit until I am beat into the ground.

For better or worse... that is generally how I am.

I don't think I'm really proud of anything. It was cool when I beat my mentor's deadlift record though.

185lb Squats last week. Past parallel. 2 sets of 3, then 2, then 1.

Yeah yeah... I know... I know.

This time next year though I hope to be doing MUCH more weight.

all the big milestones
first time I benched 315lbs for 5 reps
first time I squatted over 405lbd for 5 reps
first time I deadlifted over 500lbs for reps
And first time I deadlifted a raw 600lbs, at a bodyweight of 215lbs

Carried my niece for over a mile while she was asleep. Couldn't move my arms and shoulders for about ten minutes after I finally got to put her down. Sleeping kids are like carrying dead weight around.

That is SO true! My son was a late walker. Didn't start walking until about 16 months old, and by then we weighed almost 30 pounds. I had to carry him everywhere, and I know exactly what you mean.

It was squatting 365 to parallel in late july but since saturday it is my bench PR.

I did 110lbs with 10 really smooth controlled reps all the way to my ribcage, not my boobs which would be like a 3 board press. Honey I am still glowing with that one and its been 2 days.

I guess my proudest moment would be when I clean and jerked 347 LBS in a contest while having Hodgkins. Actually, I didn't realize what was going on at the time but I remember trying to decide whether to do the attempt or go outside and ralph.
