Your pick for a $30k out the door coupe

i actually got on the ford website (before i answered your quiz) and built a gt with a 6-speed and the standard 5.0 litre and the price before tt&l was $30,495...i'll bet i could find one on a dealer lot and go out the door for under $30k tt&l included, and i wouldn't even have to haggle...plus, i kinda have a feel for what you like vehicularly-speaking and i took that into consideration when i suggested the mustang, on account of i'm kind sweet on you :)

:lmao: I don't like Mustangs at all. I don't really care for Fords in general (except for the European only, sporting versions of the Focus), but I think my husband would like it ok though.

Genesis Coupe was a "bang for your buck" recommendation

Personally, if I had to keep one, I'd prefer the Mustang

off topic ... the 2012 Focus is going to raise the bar in the small car segment

The Fiesta is gaining rave reviews

The Focus is going to be quieter and safer. European it the U.S. Titanium model MSRP $23K !!!!

no...but, you're a motorhead and you love musclecars...i hate fords, but i can certainly enjoy the beauty of a well-engineered factory muscle car...regardless of badging...and so can you...don't even try to lie to me :qt:

oh and, the camaro is butt-ugly and more expensive (comparably equipped) and the challenger is beautiful but more expensive for a comparable model...thus, i chose the mustang :whatever:

LOL@ the camaro being ugly

lol@ a mustang

i'm a gm guy...can't help it...it's the way i was raised...i don't know any better...so, it pains me greatly to say this but, yes, the camaro is phukkin' ugly...that gawddamn smiley face lookin' front end is just...wrong. especially when you look at the challenger and the mustang (especially the new "boss")...they're direct throw-backs and they are quite beautiful.

The Camaro looks like a Tonka Toy. Also, with a low seat, high window sills, and windows like mail slots, you can't see out of the damned thing unless you're 6'5". The Challenger weighs 4100 pounds, there's just no excuse for that. The Mustang is the most user-friendly of the three Pony cars.

For $30K he can get a loaded VW GTI.

If he's hatchback-phobic, thus eliminating the VW, the Honda Civic Si Coupe is a better car than the Altima, for thousands less.
