buying the song isn't really supporting the artist. The vast majority of that money goes directly to the label. If you really want to support your artist go to their concerts. That's where they make their real money.


and the price of a digital copy of a song/album is retarded. You pay almost the exact same price as if you bought a hard copy in the store.

politcians act like they care about tree huggers - but in the end, their bosses are corporate elites.

The government will fuck over every dead seal before fucking over wall st. Guess who got $12 Trillion last year? :)

rather obvious but bears repeating for any tree huggers expecting a $12T bailout of any sort. I even bet Obamma doesnt do enough for this oil spill and hes supposed to be the greenest president in history. For all the Obamma die hard supporters, an easy way to tell if obamma is doing enough is to ask yourself if Bush did the same thing, would it be enough?

the little people (i.e., you and me) pay all the bills, and we have to jump through all the environmental hoops everytime we want to make even a stupid little improvement to our own property...plus, if i'm not mistaken, ANWAR is still on the "no drilling" list...someone must be listening to the tree huggers and animal activists.

like someone already said...the 69 million is just their punitive liability to the govt. I hear they're trying some super shady tactics in trying to limit their future liability in lawsuits......but fuck there are still cases against Enron, this one is going to take 50 or more years before every case is heard out and damages assessed.
