will you listen to advice from somebody smaller/weaker?

seems hard to do in weighlifting
but if you think about it, no nfl coach can run/hit like the players they coach
same with nba/mlb coaches
and pretty much every sport
yet the players still respect and aknowledge the coach knows the game.
so what do you think?
Thous that can't teach. :)

Will I listen? Absolutely. I don't assume that because someone is smaller than me they aren't more knowledgable.

For all anyone knows Madcow could be 5'7" and 115 pounds, but his information is some of the best.

When it comes to tweaking a bench shirt I listen to Rob Harris (just a local competitor) who's smaller and weaker (and older) than me. He knows how to get the most out of a bench shirt.

I am smaller than all of you lads I would think.

I am probably weaker than about 75% of you :verygood:

I think some of you listen to me.

I always listen to you. Though I think some only "hear" you which is unfortunate :(

Some coaches are extremely knowedgable but have never implamented their techniques on themselves. Its like you know what to do but you would rather teach someone to do it , than do it yourself. More of a teacher than an athlete.....

I would listen intently, and if he has something good, absolutely I would. I'm a pretty open and teachable guy. I take what I hear from everybody, incorporate what makes sense and try stuff out and build upon what I previously knew to improve all my workouts.

It doesn't matter if the guy is 5'10and 140 lbs. If he knows his shit, he knows his shit.

He's also bigger than jay cutler when he was 20 (a beast then too), and he's only 18!!!!

A prideful kid who thinks he knows everything. He'll learn someday.
