Why the hell does it hurt so much to shoot in my left quad?

It seems like the last two shot of fina in my left quad have been very painful. It hurts going in and it hurts or feels like pressure when i shoot. kinda strange. Hasnt ever happened before. And it seems to be all over my quad. Anywhere I shoot it hurts. I think it could be a buildup of scar tissue, its not really swollen, kinda a little larger in an area or two though. Does scar tissue ever go away? It doesnt hurt to walk on, or push on, or anything. It just hurts when I shoot in it. And its usually painless. Think I should just give it a break for awhile? Does scar tissue go away?

Yes, give that leg a break. Scar tissue and injection pain are not related, as I can hear pins ripping through scar tissue when I pop.

yeah, ive shot fina so far in both quads and both delts with no probs. But not, its hurts like a mother to put a needle in my left quad. Like bad. I dunno whats wrong, Ill just leave it alone for awhile.

I think their are alot of nerve in the quad , I some times get a realy sharp pain as the pin makes its way to the muscle , I just lift and redirect a little and it usualy just slides right in.
What size pin are you useing ??

25g. The quad in question is slightly swollen. It hurts the entire time the needle is going in. There is no pain when walking, or pushing on the area. It seems to be my whole quad, whereever i shoot at.

well their should only be about a 1" square area that your hitting

I'm useing a 23gx1" and haven't realy had any problems .

What size needle are you using? If it is anything less than an inch you may have some kind of infection.

I usually use a 1.5 in the quad and I never have pain. I switched to 1 inch and it seemed to hurt more than the 1.5. My guess is that the 1.5 got the compound deeper into the muscle for better dispersion.
