I'm not making threats at all? I'm just saying the bushbarbarians will get you if you keep it up. I'd rather that not happen. But if you keep telling the truth......and people start to believe you then you know that some guys in dark suits will pay you a visit. I'm just trying to protect you from yourself.

Those guys in dark suits will be busy rounding up a few million independant thinkers. :)

I studied free trade in great lenght while completing an economics degree.

I think the writers of "The Economist" might have studied free trade while completing their degrees too.

For some reason though they have a remarkably different take on possible futures. Sheesh, maybe they weren't paying attention in class.

Study economics and you can argue ANY view point. Being an art rather than a science, this almost goes without saying.

Truth is, economics is a great big black hole that is easy to fall into and get lost.

Any idiot can see that outsourcing too many jobs will eventually cause our economic demise and dry up the demand for the goods and services that are being made cheaper overseas.

Many of your fellow idiots have predicted much worse, either due to not understanding the issue or simply rejecting reason.

Explain to us why your "end of the world" economic rants are any different than those which have existed from the very start of this nation? When the textile market was being industrialized, textile workers yelled the same thing. When farming conglomerates appeared, the small farmers yelled the same thing. When manufacturing began to move overseas, the workers yelled the same thing. All of them were wrong, what is right about your scenario?

It is so unfortunate that people listen to idiots though.
