Why isn't this chick returning my texts?

A girl used to go out with called me last night. She said she went out with a guy Sat night and he texed her about 5 times sunday. (without her replying)

She said she doesn't want to see him again because he came off like a needy stalker.

I so I friend requested her on muspace yesterday and she approved it today.
So I'll wait a day or so and message her I guess. I'm not worried about being looked at as being desperate, lol.
She knows I'm a good looking guy confident guy, if anything she'll be flattered I'd be going to these lengths to hang out with her.
Doesn't mean that she hasn't second thoughts about me though, I mean she is totally different than me. We would probably stick out and we may not have enough in common. But she is physically attracted so we'll see what happens. After she sees my myspace I'm more afraid of her thinking I'm a player than desperate, which wouldn't be too good either.

I did the same thing to a guy to whom I gave my digits. I was initially more than happy to go out to dinner or have drinks with him. However, the next day, when those 6 or 7 unsolicited text messages came blazing over the airwaves in rapid succession, I suddenly realized I was booked solid for the next 3 to 4 years.

Dude, you're obviously an attractive guy. Hell, I'd fuck you and I sure do envy that chick in your avi. But the tone of some of the posts you've left in this thread don't exactly scream confident, assertive, uber secure man about town. For example, read the post I quoted above in a half-crazed, maniacal sort of voice that sounds as though you're on the verge of hyperventilating and/or a major anxiety attack. That's the voice I hear when I read your posts in this thread.
